Extremely good experience , could not fault the receptionist before and after the appt same lady, excellent at her job, clearly understaffed and over worked but smiled cracked jokes and never faltered.
Doctor Satish by far the best GP I have found there since Peter knight retired, pleasant, informative, thorough and listened.

Like others, I'm not generally a review writer but like others I had an awful experience with Dr McLaren. So much so I have written a formal complaint to the Practice Manager.

Consequently this review is solely about her as a practitioner rather than Peter Street Medical Centre as a whole, as it was my first every visit and I've not seen other Dr there or had a negative experience with reception staff.

I had been warned about Dr McLaren, but ignored because I thought how bad could it be... wrong please heed the warnings. There is a reason she is the only one at that Practice that has appointments available.

Dr McLaren, is unprofessional, judgemental, not patient centred and rude.

Without reading my medical history, which she might not of had at the time as it was my first appointment (however I did acknowledge this and said I can come back after shes had a chance to read), not ordering any diagonistic tests, not asking questions or letting me explain my medical history, I felt judged. I was offered what I feel was an unsolicited opinion and an agenda about veganism not professional, holistic, patient centred medical advice I would expect from a Doctor.
She'd met me for 3 seconds and knew nothing about me nor cared to know anything about me and my medical history.

I will never see her again, nor recommend her.

I've been a client when ever I've lived in the area for decades. Everything as expected. 1 x trivial gripe which is not fair to the star rating. Some of the busy reception staff say the phone greeting and particularly their name so quickly I can't catch it the first or even second time. I've given up asking them to slow down or even repeat it. (Yep, I'm getting older... and grumpier.)

My first time writing a google review, but it seems warranted after a friend of mine was so upset with their visit that a Dr Elaine McLaren apparently brought them to tears by ignoring their concerns in a rude and disrespectful manner. From my expectations doctors are supposed to alleviate concerns or at the very least consider them, not disregard them entirely because you have better things to do.

Dr Chethana Satish was so kind and I hoped had more availability because I did not want to go back to Dr Elaine McLaren again after my first ever encounter with her, considering I was anxious about my concerns. Felt so upset and neglected just like the others!

I attempted to seek holistic medical advice which did not include just painkillers or surgical intervention and was told they didn't know where to start.. and why not just get a hysterectomy because I'm old enough now... only gave one star because I can't give zero. Dr Elaine that was really really disappointing.
