I feel deceived by the experience at this clinic.

I booked an appointment and filled out an online form beforehand, as instructed in the email I received. When I arrived, I was asked to fill out another form, they said I needed to fill out the paper form to "double-check my answers”. This seemed extremely inefficient—if the purpose of the online form was to save time, why make me fill out another one in person?

The most frustrating part was the payment. According to the clinic's website, a 10-15 minute consultation costs $88, while anything over 15 minutes is $130. My appointment was scheduled for 11:30, and while I didn’t track the exact time I went in, I’m confident the consultation didn’t last more than 15 minutes— it certainly didn’t feel like it.

At the reception, I was told to pay $130. When I mentioned that my consultation only lasted around 15 minutes, the receptionist insisted that I would receive the same Medicare rebate, whether I paid $88 or $130. I did a quick calculation and pointed out that there’s actually a $10 difference, but she dismissed it, saying, “It’s around the same amount,” and continued to insist I pay $130. Then she said something that made me stop arguing: "The doctor timed it."

Reluctantly, I paid, but I left feeling confused and frustrated. I wish there was some objective way for the clinic to time consultations so patients can be sure of what they're paying for, rather than having to guess and feel scammed. After discussing this with a friend, she told me she almost faced the same situation at Nuvo Clinic but avoided being overcharged by timing her consultation herself. She had evidence on her phone and wasn’t scammed.

Days later, I’m still upset—not only about the possible overcharge but also about the receptionist's dismissive attitude toward the $10 difference. I find this behaviour dishonest and unprofessional.

I have been coming to this clinic for 18 years now, and I have been happy with their service. Dr James Liew and Nurse Lisa have always been professional, attentive and kind. There are other clinics nearer where I live, but I would rather drive 20 minutes to go to this one.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this clinic. The staff's rudeness was immediately apparent, both in person and over the phone. The doctors seem to be just going through the motions—no thorough examinations or treatments, just basic consultations that somehow still come with a hefty price tag. It's baffling how they justify charging so much for minimal service. I've never encountered such poor customer service and medical care at any other GP. It's disheartening and frustrating to be treated with such insensitivity.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with my recent visit to this clinic. The lack of professionalism was startling. My appointment felt rushed, and the doctor's advice was vague and unhelpful. The receptionist was also extremely rude, just gossiping while I was waiting to get called. Highly disrespectful.

I regret to give this place a zero-star rating. I visited for a consultation regarding my menstrual issues, but the attending doctor seemed indifferent and lacked helpful insights, merely suggesting that I "wait it out" and return later. Additionally, I was charged $88 for a brief 10-minute session, which surprisingly was not covered by Medicare. Furthermore, the reception staff was noticeably rude and unprofessional. A disappointing experience all around.

We live upstairs, has visit the center a few times, doctors are amazing. however, an old short blonde hair lady at reception is terrible, this morning my son had a bleeding nose just right in front of the medical center, I went in ask for some tissue! The lady keep on asking if I have an appointment.. I told her I was a patient and all I need is just to borrow a few tissues to help my 8 years old boy with his bleeding nose!!! Lucky a very kind nurse jump in and pass me a whole tissue box. God bless this beautiful lady. It’s a terrible experience with the reception, it’s ridiculous but thanks for the nice nurse.

Cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The staff are so helpful, attentive and well informed and went out of their way to assist me. Nurse Jenny Power was also amazing with my two young girl administering their immunisations. Very grateful to have found such a great clinic.

GP here are very good. They are all very experienced. Due to school and working hours, I booked different gp, which have solved my problem. Although my English proficiency is average, they also try their best to help me. The nurses here are also very good. My daughter is four years old and has been vaccinated here since she was born. My family think this is a great medical centre.
