I was truely impressed in the service from the counter staff. I took my mother in to fill a few of her prescriptions yesterday. The lady who took our payment, walked through and explained each item cost which identified an error that they happily and efficiently corrected. Good and thoughtful customer service was a standout in this case.

I requested medication from a shop assistant, who then consulted with a female pharmacist. The pharmacist, stationed about 2 meters away from me behind her dispensary counter, proceeded to ask me personal questions such as, the purpose of the medication, who recommended I use it, when did I last use it, and frequency of use. The demeanour in the way these question were put to me I felt was also rather blunt and unpleasant. All happening in a public setting, in front of both other chemist staff and customers.

I recognise that Pharmacist Only Medicines (Schedule 3) must be dispensed by or under the direction of a pharmacist in a pharmacy setting. However, it would have been appreciated if the pharmacist had exercised some basic courtesy by stepping out from behind the counter and discussing these matters both politely and privately, rather than publicly.

I would have marked lower if it wasn’t for the help and friendly assistance of the other female pharmacist and shop assistant.

I went in to get cough medicine and the girl serving me was so good. Took time to ask me questions to choose the right one and when I mentioned my anaphylaxis and medication I take, she checked it all with the pharmacist.
They also have a great selection of gifts for Christmas.

Been here 3 times and all they do is intergate you instead of helping or giving you what you are after. E.g. doctor across the way diagnoses and then they question the doctor. Although it is around the corner will be detouring to the golden beach pharmacy as they are much cheaper and no hassle.

I deal with the sleep apnea clinic and most of the time with Janine, she is very good at her job, and doesn’t pressure me, and informs of specials on, I would not but any of my CPAP equipment from any one else, again excellent service
