Dr Ginny Tay is the most caring and knowledgeable GP I have ever seen. She’s been caring for our family for years and always puts the person first. Can’t recommend her enough.

Went to see Dr Ginny, since Dr Claire wasn’t available and i urgently needed staph antibiotics, which i have been prescribed by my old GP and Claire back in May 2024, i went back in hope that Dr Ginny can give me one ASAP, i am aware of my symptoms and know my skin well more than her. But she insisted it was a type of ‘allergy’. I assured her this looks exactly what it was when i saw Dr Claire and that last time i asked the same she would give me same prescription. On top of that, i insisted i already have spent hundreds of dollars at the dermatologist and they have only prescribe me with steroid cream that has made me constantly relapse into flare ups. Instead of acknowledging this she said that i need to see a dermatologist because this is no way to live, and she has seen some eczema like this and it’s mainly eating or touching things that give me allergies. I have seen many GP and 2 dermatologist, this is a repeat of information i already know. I explained to her financial commitment isn’t in my books right now, as i study full time and don’t work due to my conditions. She still insisted i see a dermatologist to get steroids or injections and that she will not give me antibiotics and after breaking down due to my poor mental health, i still had to pay and no sympathy from her.

Very unconcerned unsympathetic receptionist. Would suggest some staff sensitivity training or perhaps offer her an apparently long overdue Holliday

Very disappointed as I have been a patient at Parkwood Medical for many years,im a holder of a pension card I have been told I have to pay a gap to receive treatment because I am not 75yrs old but my husband doesn't have to pay a gap. If I don't want to pay gap I
need to prove hard ship . Why we are a couple with the same income . The cost is still coming from the same household. Need to review our options.😡

need to prove

The doctors here need to defend their patients and stick up for them wherever petty bureaucracy is putting positive health outcomes at risk.

The doctor said her patient required emergency treatment at KEMH, but then happily backed down when some cocky twenty year old decided the patient should go to FSH. A procedure that day could have saved the patient and given her at least another 8-12 months of Life.

Once in the incompetent clutches of feet dragging and junior doctors doing NOTHING, just causing more delays, the patient was left unsupported. The doctor’s attitude was to wash their hands of the patient, tell the family to talk to the hospital.

They really let her down and so she died.

I have just had to pay $20 as I requested my medical records to be transferred to my new doctor which confirms my decision to change to a new medical practice. The majority of doctor's at the practice are good but the admin staff and administration processes are well below par.
