Both my son and daughter have visited this clinic during the year for different concerns. We utilised the speech pathology service which I cant recommend Alex highly enough. My son was very comfortable, open and honest with Alex who was able to provide us and the school a formal diagnosis very quickly and thoroughly. For a 15 year old boy, I was pleasantly surprised the level of interaction and comfort my son had with Alex...a credit to Alex and the clinic. Thank u.

I can only say high recommendations also for the Paediatric side of things too. Again, diagnosis was quick and thorough. All options were explained to both myself and child and although my child has some ongoing issues, Gareth is assisting us greatly and we are seeing improvements since first visiting Paeds Plus. Thank you for being accommodating, trustworthy thorough and supportive in what can be a difficult time for parents. Much appreciated 🙏

Dr Kameron is an excellent paediatrician who is fantastic with kids - and also parents!

We have had several appointments with Dr Kameron over the past year and our dealings with this practice have been positive every time. Dr Kameron carefully explained medication and non-medication options to us and supported us through our decision-making process. Dr Kameron is highly knowledgeable and explains things in a way that we could understand, including our son. He always answered any questions we had. We certainly appreciate his drawings which help us to understand too! The office is a lovely place to visit for our child. The clinic employees are so welcoming and there are lots of fun things to play with and look at while waiting. Thank you so much for your help with our son, it has made a huge difference to our household and most importantly, our child.

I spoke with Dr Gareth Kameron about an ADHD treatment for my son. He is a very polite and pleasant doctor but I found the approach totally against my beliefs and what is deserving for my son. It seemed to me that this practice is guaranteed to prescribe Ritalin (and melatonin to calm people down) and they are happy with doing this for life as many practitioners are taking these into adulthood. Any psychological treatment for any underlying issues is merely an afterthought. It seems to me that this practice is suitable for people who are happy to give children and adults lifelong medical treatment for symptoms even if there are strong suggestions of other underlying causes for behavioural issues. I understand that there are cultural differences between US/Australia and Europe and I would definitely classify this practice as using the US approach where concerns about overmedication and overprescription are dismissed. What was concerning also was that seeing differences in different environments (mother's vs father's place) are also not taken into account at all. In short if you think that spending time raising your child and paying attention to their needs is too taxing and you would prefer medication over parenting then this is the right place for you. If you have some space for normal variation in behaviour and are concerned about lifelong medication and have concerns about labelling ordinary childhood mischief which should be managed by the parents then my experience shows that you will not find support for that here.
