This is a bit delayed but I wanted to express my gratitude to Jodie Ross. I had been through tones of doctors before seeing Jodie, knowing something didn’t feel right. Every dr had disregarded how I felt and applied a band aid fix of antibiotics (I’d hate to think of how many courses I’d been on). Jodie CARES. She got down to the root of the issue. I will forever be thankful for all her help.

I have seen Dr Alix for years and she is truly the best! She is so kind and has cared for my entire family. Dr Andrew is also an amazing doctor that has helped with my daughter more times than I can count. He is very gentle natured and very patient.

I called the medical practice twice this morning regarding an enquiry about my daughter. On my second call, while explaining my situation to the receptionist, she interrupted me and asked, "Please repeat everything you just said, as I cannot understand you because of your accent." As I mentioned over the phone and now on Google Reviews, if you find it difficult to understand someone due to their accent, you should be polite and choose better words when asking them to repeat themselves.

We are in 2024, and Queensland, like the rest of Australia, is home to many people from diverse cultural backgrounds, each with their own accent. Multiculturalism is a reality, and the fact that your front desk staff (the face and voice of your medical practice) do not know how to ask a question without sounding rude or discriminatory reflects poorly on your work culture. It indicates a lack of efficient and respectful communication and affects the quality of your customer service overall.

My daughter will not be visiting this medical practice ever again. Please ensure your staff are well-trained in framing basic questions and using communication to provide psychological safety to your patients and customers.

Great, professional healthcare

This is my usual GP clinic and I always feel very well taken care of by my GP. I have recently also engaged their travel consult service, which was excellent - including vaccines that were much cheaper than quoted by some of the clinics in the CBD.

This clinic might be slightly more expensive that others (I think) but my gosh it's worth it. Doctors always available in a reasonable timeframe and I never have to wait long for my appointment. I even got a text message to say my results were fine within 24 hours! At my last clinic they'd make me book another phone appointment days away just to tell me the same news. Dr Armstrong is particularly lovely and Dr Steele is direct (in a very positive way) and brilliant.

Option for Teleconference appointment is perfect if a face to face is not required.

All of my needs were addressed very professionally in a fraction of the time and I received more support than I had requested.

Professional services always and I need to give a special call out to Dr. Naomi Frazer as she is everything you could ask for in a GP. So knowledgeable, personable and professional.
