I absolutely love this family practice. The staff are personable and Dr. Ruwan is absolutely the best doctor I, or my husband, have ever had. He actually takes the time to really know his patients and *actively* listens to them. I have never been too picky about who I see (I have seen 30+ different doctors in my life) but I will only see him now unless it is a last minute urgent appointment and he is not available. The poor reviews stating the reason being that the practice were not able to accommodate a last minute urgent appointment are unreasonable. If it is an emergency, there are multiple family practices in Ormeau or walk-in only ‘super clinics’ nearby.

Always had the best experience with the Drs, nurses and receptionists. During my cancer treatment (with low immunity) I was always put into another room, to not pick up anything from other patients. They have always been considerate!

I dont even want to give this place one star. Horrendous service I called today to sort a script for my 2 year old who gets very bad ear infections regularly and was turned away told to call back next week ummm no my 2 year olds ear infection isn't going to wait till next week. Doctors seem to not care about their customers we are just another number to them. Also several months ago I was told to wait outside 1 week postpartum while holding my newborn and hypo toddler in the busy car park extremely dangerous. that experiance makes me want to walk away and not bother ever coming back

How about reading all your terrible reviews and doing something about it. Or is it too much to ask for basic customer service ?

A DVA Veteran new to the area, I went to enquire about Doctor availability. The receptionist took less than a condescending minute to make me feel a second class citizen, before I turned around and walked out. I gave it a one star because I can’t rate lower.

I have been to this Medical Center a number of times But unfortunately I’ve been turned away each time because I did not have a reservation. This includes when I arrive there after getting chemical sprayed in my eyes they would not see me because Apparently they were booked out. My eyes were burning red an extremely sore and I was still turned away. Not surprisingly it has been the large dark woman every time at the counter and possibly discriminate against me because I’m Asian. I’m quite disgusted at the service I received at this medical center on more than one occasion and it is extremely unprofessional.and believe me I was never go there again the dark woman at the counter makes the place go down she very rude

I have been attending this medical centre since it first opened 20 years ago. I am only in my 40's, and have found throughout this time that I have been given the highest level of treatment. The staff are caring as are the doctors. Yes, sometimes you can't get in straight away, but if it is an emergency, they will tell you to go in and they will attend to you. Any busy surgery would have the same issues. I would highly recommence this medical centre.

As a family of 4 adults kids, a grandchild with a husband who has to be seen weekly, monthly.... We could not be MORE happier to have the team help us out all the time.. From the front to the nurses, doctors have been Extremely supportive to us all.

I wish that I can leave a comment without even giving a single star to this centre.. no complaints wth the doctors but the receptionist are so rude and they think nothing less than as great as a doctor. I was badly treated so many times where once my boy was so sick and we went to the centre and they ask us to leave because we didn’t had any appointments booked in.. I only like to go to the centre because we like Dr. Dias apart from that it’s just a worst place to go where you go to get insulted and humiliated by the receptionist I don’t know the name but the black girl there and a white thin old women with specs are terrible (I’m just informing how they look and not bullying anyone or discriminating) I wonder how the doctor cannot see these many bad review and change the staff. I’m writing this comment because of my father he visited us from India and when I called I was told that it’s ok all good to go and my dad visited with my husband and he was ask to leave as he is a new patient. I wonder if you guys didn’t wanted to check him why I wasn’t told earlier and also why was he ill treated, the ladies at the counter can be so rude and blunt on face and don’t even care to help anyone in need. I wonder how they are with their own families and I just feel pity for their parents and children as they are not setting a good example. My daddy was so rudely treated there that he was not allowed to enter the centre at all. Worst centre with worst staff. I hope someone atleast look into all these comments and act
