I got my braces put on for the first time and I was scared and nervous. The orthodontist was rude and didn’t explain anything to me before hand. He just shoved the air thing in my mouth and I freaked out and he just snapped at me telling me to stop in a rude tone. He even was rude at the assistant when she was trying her very best to calm me down. At the end I was happy with my result but not during the process.

YES I am writing a review for a time period of over 5 years ago, however my experience here was absolutely disgusting.
I should have continued the fight, but I gave up. Having this dentist take out teeth that they did not need to has now given me a permanent gap down the bottom at the front.. Implants are too expensive and not an option. When you are in pain in one are of your mouth, as I now know, this does not mean its the tooth that feels sore..... Three teeth out later, that were not the issue as the problem ended up being the top tooth. Then to be belittled by the Supervisor asking if I came into the dentist because I was depressed was an unbelievable accusation. I was in PAIN!!!Days and nights of pain, hospital trips because of tooth pain... and to be treated the way I was every time I walked in the door was just ridiculous..... When FINALLY the top tooth was repaired, all the pain went!!!! Job done.... Now this took MONTHS !!! and even when I returned with 2 missing teeth after their botched job, the supervisor seemed unhappy that these teeth were removed. The plate given was horrible and was made a second time... it has to be taken out when I eat, so I don't even bother with it anymore..... I really should have lodged further complaints with this dentist... Just because it was a public dentist does not give them the right to treat me like scum... I would never return to this dentist even if I was up all day and night every night in agony... This place certainly ruined my trust in dentistry and I suffer alot of anxiety when ever I need to go to a dentist.. Thankfully I left Darwin, and that disgusting joint.

During Christmas holidays I needed help for a painful tooth. Private dental clinics were all booked in and no one was caring if I had to suffer for more than 2 weeks until first availability. Receptionists at this oral health service have been so kind, professional and compassionate, as well as the director who let me in. Dr. Sui Ting Wong has been incredibly professional, scrupulous and kind visiting me, giving the prescription and advice. Good bless these people always.

I took my 5 year old son here and the first and second visit with the children’s dentist was amazing until my son was in so much pain I called and asked for an urgent appointment due to him not being able to sleep or eat. Went in to the adults dentist upstairs to have a rude dentist who tried to give my son a needle with anaesthesia. My son has been traumatised all day from this visit and they were unable to take the tooth out that is now infected. I asked if they could give him gas instead of a giant needle which then the dentist advised it is a 1-2 month wait to have the gas so we then left. I called them later the same day due to him being in soo much pain for them to tell me to go to a private dentist as they could not assist me.

Very disappointing behaviour at reception. With concession card they humiliat you as much as they can. To get an appointment you have to tell them lie that I am in severe pain otherwise they just put u in waiting list and never call u back. I have visited 4 times for appointment but always a phillipine lady tell me the same story we are putting u in the waiting list and her tone is so insulting. Such a shame , no professionalism at all

Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of a dentist at your clinic.
I brought one of my foster children to your clinic for a dental check after having 2 cancelations on previous appointments at Danila Dilba due to COVID spread. After the check the dentist failed to communicate with me about the seriousness of the problem and continued with filing paperwork for neglect of the child without asking me what was done about it in the past few months since the problem appeared . I have collected paperwork for the cancellation of all previous appointments and with the support of the Department of children I will be taking the matter further for false accusations and failing to communicate with the clients guardian.
