I had the most amazing experience at OPSM Katherine. Easily it was best experience across OPSM stores I have visited across Queensland, South Australia and now NorthernTerritory. A little town of Katherine and who would’ve thought it would be like this. Thank you to the team, Michael your knowledge and attitude was awesome. You were polite, knowledgeable and knew exactly what was happening with my eyes in such a short time. The Young lady who’s only new, was well presented, took pride in very thing she did which was just incredible to see. Typically from my experience the younger generation are very different nowadays but your demeanour and attitude was positive, bubbly and bouyant, which brought a smile to my face. The manager was knowledgeable and polite and gave me what I needed which were multiple options to consider as I was reframing an old pair of glasses with a new prescription. I felt heard, validated and I am not the easiest to communicate with - which I do appreciate.

Once again, thank you for an awesome experience that rivals every store I have been too, across three states. I look forward to seeing you again on my travels soon, to pickup the glasses on my way through from Darwin.

The in store experience was great. Eye test and fitting excellent. The follow up was non existent. I called a few times regarding how they were getting on with my provider (DVA). My last call to the store was not even returned by the person responsible. Over three weeks now.

Thanks for one of the best eye tests and optometry teams I’ve seen in all of Australia at Katherine OPSM.. Love my new multi focal sun glasses. Highly recommended!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The inconsistency in opening hours, the disdain and utter carelessness shown by the customer service (!!) … the amount of times the “back in 10 minutes” sign is up there in a single day equates to part time - no! Casual!! opening hours so just be real and advertise the hours as when the officer can be bothered!
I get we live in a regional centre - so I’ll be heading to Darwin for this service. Utterly shocking. And no, don’t get me to ring a number. Just do better!
