I'm sure the doctors and other medical staff are fantastic as per all the glowing reviews, but I unfortunately didn't get a chance to see one of them.
Arrived on time for my appointment and receptionist #1 was strangely aloof, distracted and vague. They asked me to repeat myself many times until I found myself (calmly) raising my voice so they could hear me. Perhaps they were hard of hearing, which is totally fine...but it was just a weird and altogether uncomfortable interaction.
After over an hour of sitting in the dystopian, monochromatic and windowless waiting area (how about some plants guys at least guys?), I eventually went over and asked receptionist #2 how much longer it would be. Without even a glance in my direction, they checked the computer and bluntly asked if I had remembered to sign in with them when I arrived. I told them I did, with the other receptionist.
Then all three receptionists started discussing amongst themselves what had possibly gone wrong (obviously my sign in had been messed up in some way by receptionist #1).
Without so much as an apology or even a subtle acknowledgement of the mistake, receptionist #2 told me to go and keep waiting while they messaged the doctor.
After 15 more minutes of waiting I had to leave to get back to work, again after telling them this, no apology or anything just an unceremonious "ahh ok" from receptionist #2.
The receptionists error isn't really what bothers me here...people make mistakes, we're only human. It was just the weird, robotic and detached energy from the staff that made my visit an altogether disappointing experience. Won't be returning.
Receptionist #3 was cool though.
