I can definitely recommend Ochre Medical Centre, even though the name is a bit of a tongue twister.
It was easy to get an appointment right the next day, no fuss, super friendly nurse and doc, both took their time for a proper conversation.

Dr Condon is the best Dr I've seen, and I've seen a lot over the years.
She's thorough, investigates problems at hand which enables her to act quickly with treatment.
Nothing is a problem and you're not rushed
With her caring positive outlook I'm impressed beyond words.

Kind caring professional best doctor and reception staff always make patients feel comfortable

Had a Tele appointment today. Called ahead 20 mins to make sure it was fine and was told all good. Reception bad in my area so was out on the street in the rain waiting. 10mins after my appointment was supposed to start I was told that that there was some issue and I would be charged full price if I were to go ahead (I am on a disability pension and have a health care card). Was rang back and they said I had said I had been to the practice in the last year on the online form when making the appointment and the issue was due to this.

This is a lie. There is no such question- I checked. It only asks if I am an existing patient which I considered myself to be, having gone to this practice for years. I am a disabled woman and I was disgusted that I could be treated this way when I’ve always been loyal. I have health conditions and am low income. Very disappointing. All they care about is money.

I was holidaying from Sydney and needed to see a GP. When I called the Maleny surgery, Jen answered the phone and was so friendly and accommodating. They gave me an appointment to which I was very grateful as we were approaching the weekend and needed to be seen before then.
My experience at the surgery itself was just as wonderful as the call. The doctor was running right on time. I saw Dr Condon who was warm, friendly and instantly put me at ease. She was quick to diagnose what I had and what I needed. She was confident and explained everything to me about the next steps.
I would recommend this surgery to anyone. Thank you all for the service you provided and the positive interaction I experienced there.
