Great location, friendly staff. Affordable rates. We stayed in a standard room, very clean with a comfy double bed. If your about ambience and being well within walking distance to the beach this is a great place. You can hear the waves from the room. We will return. Some of the fixtures are in need of attention, but its all about the location, cleanliness and friendliness, with a pool and heated spa. Spot on for us.

Terrible. We have stayed there twice before and it was lovely. This time we put in the worst room. The perfume was overbearing as you walked in, the room was Very old and in need of repair. The cups were dirty, glasses too. We couldnt use them. The teatowl was dirty. The decorative pillows on the beds were dirty. The bed hadn't been flipped in ages and there was 2 divets where people had been sleeping.
The sink was so high that i couldnt reach to was my face and the mirror so low my husband had to bend to use it. Showers were yuck so we missed that and will wait till we get home.
The people next door were so noisy that we thought it was kids jumping in a room above us. Turns out they were next doors. The walls are thin so you can everything. Our room was near bins.

Had a horrible stay. Room was very smelly of moisture and mould. Old style building and rooms. An uncomfortable bed. Only view was onto the carpark.
Room was unclean, with an unpleasant host.
We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Aus, this was the worst we have come across. There are other nicer places to stay in Hawks Nest.

Stayed at Ocean side while working, great meals, very comfortable and clean room, great meals and atmosphere in the pub attached great coffee and service from the young lady behind bar, looked after extremely well, by the team, and manger Josh, nothing was too much to assist me in my stay, highly recommend, would be my choice of stay in this beautiful location next time im in Hawks next. Thankyou 😃

The ladies in the office are lovely, booking me in last minute and making us feel so welcome. Myself and my kids had the best time in the pool, slide was a hit! Location is fantastic as it’s easy walking distance to the ocean shops park and benchmark hotel. Second time stay and can’t wait to be back, love the laid back vibe of this place x

We were in a suite with a very large balcony looking out onto the street (bedroom Lounge). Very nice service when we visited during the pandemic. The pool is nice with a heated spa in Winter. The room was nice with a renovated bathroom. The room was not so funky but ok. It had a luxe king size bed with a funky bedspread but the cane sofa was a bit daggy. We had a great visit. It is very close to the beach and only blocks away from a coffee shop and IGA. They also have their own trendy nice coffee shop underneath.

My 14 yo son and I stayed for 7 nights over the New Year period. It is nice and close to Bennett's Beach and Benchmark (a licenced restautant not connected to the Motel) is directly underneath. The pool is good. We had a two bedroom apartment with a separate lounge room and kitchen. This isn't pretending to be 5 star accomodation, but you have everything that you need. My double bed was comfortable. my 14yo was very happy to have his own room. Good fridge and enough cooking utensils. ||||We'll definitely rebook.

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful mid-week break at Oceanside Hawks Nest. We upgraded to a two bedroomed apartment and couldn’t have been happier. The apartment was clean with a well-equipped kitchen, laundry and a superb shower. I have trouble sleeping but the bed had a new mattress and the sheets were deliciously soft! Kylie at front desk made everything very easy for us and we’ve always found the staff warm and friendly. I wish we had known about this place when our children were younger - with the pool and spa, they’d have had a ball! Couldn’t recommend Oceanside Hawks Nest more likely!
