We stayed at Darlington Beach Resort over the Easter holidays and had a wonderful experience. We booked an unpowered campsite and everything exceeded our expectations. The site was spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature. All facilities are very clean and well maintained. The cleaners are working so hard and they are very friendly. And there were plenty of activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. The beach is just a short walk away, and the whole area feels very family-friendly and relaxed. Staff were also super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Thanks to the staff of NRMA Darlington Holiday Park! You guys were very supportive. Trying to wait out the rain here was the best decision we made. All around great people from the bar, the activities hut, the reception and to the maintenance crew. Mark the maintenance man is a legend, helped sort a driers issue and even got us a little gift for the trouble. Much appreciated. Also to Ali and the Front Manager for helping us out staying another night. The kids love the arcade and activities hut. They're also big fans of the spa bath.
Can't recommend this place enough.

My family and I spent the last 5 nights here and i can honestly say it was fantastic. Although it was raining our entire stay the kids had the best time. The hospitality, service, rooms everything was great. Ive been to a number of caravan parks in the past and this one is by far #1. Also would like to say thank you to Jasmine from the cafe for her exceptional hospitality and service. She definitely went above and beyond. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later 😁

The staff at this place are all incredibly lovely, warm, and welcoming — their friendliness really stood out and made a great impression. However, the dining experience could definitely be improved. The food options in the restaurant are quite limited, and unfortunately, the quality of the meals was just average — nothing particularly memorable. As for the accommodation, the cabin was clean and well-kept, but it did feel a bit damp, which affected the overall comfort. With a few improvements to the food and ventilation, this could be a much more enjoyable stay.

We arrived late afternoon, reception was great. Palm Villa was good, basic furniture, obviously well used, but seemed to have everything we could need. It added to our experience that the local wildlife was all around us. The veranda was great, the birds loved visiting us. Short walk to the beautiful beach. |On our arrival, we asked about places to eat, and the receptionist recommended a nice eatery just down the road, which turned out to be great. ||Our only negatives are:| 1. the double bed. This definitely needed replacing. The mattress was old and dipped as soon as we sat on it. |2. the water went off at about 11pm and didn’t come back on. We mentioned this in the morning and it seems it’s a regular occurrence. The receptionist gave us a voucher for coffee as an apology. We bought breakfast in the cafe, it was delicious! |What a great place for families.

We had a one night stopover in a safari tent. It was the perfect place to stop! Arriving after 6, the Safari tent was so well equipped for a comfortable night with the family- great size, comfy, clean, nice bathroom, and even had air conditioning. We went straight to the pool and enjoyed the waterslides and a dip in the sea. Then the cafe was so convenient for dinner, kids watched the outdoor movie, nice food and drinks. In the morning we enjoyed the spa, ping pong, giant chess, colouring in activities, breakfast and coffee, and we hit the road again. We also enjoyed seeing the friendly kangaroos. We hope to go back to enjoy all the other activities!

We've been coming here for the past 8 years & find that every year the park is absolutely brilliant. The staff are magnificent. The activities are a lot of fun for both kids & adults. The café serves up beautiful food. Cabins were very clean & modern. Can't wait to get here again next year.

Despite being on an adventure with my son all around Australia, I rarely write a review. However, I had to make an exception for the team at Darlington. Whilst the facilities, grounds and activities on offer are all first class, it is the customer service that sets Darlington apart from every place I’ve ever visited in the last 50 years. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional - words like, ‘friendly’’, ‘thorough’ and ‘expert’ just do not do the team justice as they went above and beyond to make my son and I feel welcome. We extended our stay from two to eight nights and my son even asked if we could forego the rest of our adventure to stay here! Given our stay coincided with the arrival of Cyclone Alfred, the staff really demonstrated that during times of adversity, true leadership and quality of character stand up. While not wanting to diminish the efforts of all, a special thanks must go to Jasmine, Jeremy, Josie and the ladies at reception for being the very epitome of all of the above. A final thanks to Nick, whose inspiring leadership at Darlington is obvious for all to see and a significant reason the resort has such a great culture. He even makes a great coffee at 4am!
