Have been going to this practice since coming to Nowra and have had no issues. I have not experienced anything like what others are giving the practice low stars for. The doctor is very helpful and will follow up with 3rd parties if need be.

One of the only places still bulk billing. Bec is a lovely receptionist and has helped us with our bubs immunisations also.

A colleague recommended this Dr to me therefore, I took my mum to see this Dr, what an unpleasant experience my mum and I had! He seems pleasant from the outside however when the consultation took place he was arrogant and kept looking at his watch, he seemed frazzled when I was asking him questions. His words" I dont take new patients I am too busy, go to. I most definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENTITLED DR. DON'T RECOMMEND KEEP AWAY.Worrigee MC. What a cop out, actually he did us a huge favour

I have been a patient of Dr Mohanad’s for quite some time now and I highly recommend him. He is caring and knowledgeable. Bec at Reception is also a lovely person to deal with.

Claims he has soooo many patients Already, and that he has NO more time for new patients. YET accepts new appointments on hot doc. Makes you wait for over 2 hours, and then when he sees you. States he is very busy, has to hurry the appointment, that he cannot prescribe certain medications because he is not specialised to do pain management. Yet, on his profile, he claims he prides himself on the provision of complex needs, etc. he is happy to claim Medicare. But, he fobs his responsibility onto other services for what should be 101 medicine. I’m going to report this charlatan to the appropriate authorities to investigate this practice. Arguably, if he sees for a one off. But, once assessed, it is clear a follow up appointment is required. What then? Don’t waste your time in booking on hot doc with this doctor who is looking to FILL in for a Medicare claim

I wouldn’t see this doctor again.
I was classified as a ‘high risk’ pregnancy (nothing bad), and upon moving to Nowra I saw this doctor to write some referrals & some prescriptions.
Months later after not hearing from anyone - I found out the referrals were never sent.
I booked an appointment with him to get my whooping cough and also to get some of my regular medications when I was told by the doctor that I was to see the midwives at the hospital for these things and he didn’t want to care for me anymore because I was ‘too much’ and he was ‘too busy’. Mind you, my new doctor has never had an issue writing my prescriptions and providing vaccinations ie. whooping cough and the flu shot.
I felt very neglected by this doctor, and quite hurt at his comments - Realistically I had been refused care when I was only high risk because of medications I take (and also monitored by the ante-natal clinic for this)
Unfortunately the Ante-natal clinic don’t provide these requests in this area, So at 30 weeks pregnant I was left in the dark to try and find a new doctor who could provide me the basic needs not covered by the hospital.

I would not recommend this doctor at all.

This Doctors surgery is very good, the staff are super friendly and understanding, the doctor is very thorough and professional, and they bulk bill, walk in appointments are possible too.
