Today, I visited the clinic and saw Dr. Zille Shehzad. I felt humiliated and judged by the way she spoke to me and her overall demeanor. Her tone was rude, and her gestures were unacceptable. I also felt as though I was being looked down upon because of my age.
As a doctor, she should be mindful of cultural differences, individual feelings, and patient vulnerability. Holding a position of authority does not give someone the right to belittle or humiliate their patients. Before reacting, she should take the time to understand the patient, especially if she has not reviewed their medical records. If she is unfamiliar with a case, she should ask questions in a respectful manner rather than making assumptions.
I understand that she was not the doctor who originally requested my blood test. However, I believe that all patient records should be accessible within the same medical center, including test results and the reasons behind them. Additionally, when she informed me about another test and its cost, she emphasized that it was not bulk-billed. While the cost is not an issue for me, I visited the clinic seeking guidance on the available procedures, along with their benefits and risks.
Her attitude changed when I pointed out that she had reacted that way because she was unaware of the background behind my visit. This experience left me feeling disrespected, and I hope that in the future, patient interactions at your clinic will be handled with greater empathy and professionalism. (Since no reply option image attached, my appointment was 12:40 pm. My name is Mitchelle S.)

I normally leave reviews when a service is either exceptional or TERRIBLE. And you could probably guess this one is TERRIBLE, no wonder the overall review is only 2.5.
The reason I go to this medical centre is because it is very close to me. But I ended up wasting so much of my time dealing with them.
I needed to get a referral from a GP. So I went in for my first appointment 3 weeks ago. Firstly, the staff who booked me in got me mixed up with another patient who has the same surname. So when I turned up for my appointment, I had no idea that the doctor was calling for me, as it wasn't my name. I ended up waiting for an extra 30 mins until they figured it out. When I saw the doctor about the referral, he got it printed in the wrong patients name. After I pointed it out, he corrected it, though he didn't do the letter properly, so I couldn't use it for Medicare rebate, and that's the whole reason I went in!
After receiving the forms I sent through, my specialist's office had called the medical centre multiple times and requested a proper letter. They never addressed the issue or returned my specialist's call anyway.
I then had to contact them myself. Each time I called someone promised me that they would sort it out and call me back, it has been 2 weeks and still not resolved!!!
It seems to me that Nova Medical Centre just don't give a crap about their patients and only do the bare minimum possible. This is ridiculous as I keep having to postpone my appointment because of their mistake. I will lodge a formal complaint until this is attended. I am not one of those people who is just gonna let it go because it is too much hassle to deal with. It sucks you guys so-called doctors just treat people like this! SHAME ON YOU!!!

I recently visited Nova medical centre for a general health check-up, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and has a calming atmosphere.
The doctor I saw took the time to thoroughly review my medical concerns, ask relevant questions, and address all my concerns. I felt genuinely listened to, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving. The check-up included a full range of tests and screenings, and the results were explained clearly, with the doctor offering practical advice on maintaining and improving my health.
Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Dr Abdulla Shehzad to anyone looking for professional and comprehensive healthcare. The level of care and attention to detail truly stood out.

I am actually appalled by the reception staff at this establishment. It is a no wonder this clinic has the reviews and the low star rating it has. I have gone here a couple of times and each time the staff are chatting amongst themselves, gossiping and when they serve you they could not be more unimpressed that you're there. I had an appointment today and because I was called into a shift I had to reschedule my appointment. Now I've had to do this once before and it was completely fine, however this time the staff was rude and insisted I will be charged $40 to reschedule! I mentioned this had not happened to me before and I was told 'NO , that would've been a warning and a once off' as if I was lying about my experience. Obviously I was stressed and upset and swore once in a sentence and was then hung up on. I then called back and told them I would make a formal complaint if they hung up on me as they are now jeopardising my health and well-being. Long story short I was told off for my language and all they cared about was money. I will not be returning, which is ashame because their doctors Mr and Mrs Abdullah and Heng are great. The establishment needs a good hard remake of its front office staff and how they treat their patients.
These reviews speak for themselves.

I only go to this drs when I am desperate and can't get in anywhere else. All drs (except Dr Yusuf) have been awful and most times I have left the surgery crying. There have been countless errors and lack of care/investigation for any issue I am visiting for. I always have to go to another surgery after to get a second opinion because almost all of the gps there are very careless and lack empathy.

During my first appointment with Dr. Wes AbuJalala, I presented with symptoms of fever and a dry cough. Despite my condition, Dr. AbuJalala did not conduct any tests or thorough assessments. Instead, he prescribed me antibiotics typically used for pediatric patients, despite my age of 48, and dismissed my concerns by attributing my symptoms to a virus. The entire visit lasted a mere 4 minutes, leaving me feeling unheard and neglected.
Subsequently, my encounter with Dr. Yusuf Bhamjee only exacerbated my dissatisfaction with the clinic. Dr. Bhamjee displayed inappropriate behavior during our consultation, steering the conversation towards unrelated topics such as religion, ethnicity, and politics instead of addressing my health concerns. He prescribed me another incorrect antibiotic, misdiagnosed my condition, and unnecessarily requested a specimen collection, leading to a delay in receiving proper treatment.
As a result of the inadequate care provided by these doctors, I was forced to seek assistance from another general practitioner who conducted appropriate tests and prescribed the necessary treatment for my pneumonia. The mismanagement of my health not only caused me physical discomfort but also resulted in missed workdays without pay.
I believe that the actions of Dr. AbuJalala and Dr. Bhamjee constitute malpractice and demonstrate a negligent attitude towards patient care.

I have always had courteous, caring, thorough and efficient service at this Medical Centre.I have mostly dealt with Dr Gerard D’Cruz and Dr Abdullah Shehzad and have found them both very good.

Reception staff obviously don't know how lines/waiting works. Don't bother arriving before your appointment time, as they will put patients before you, that arrive later than you arrive clocking in for your appointment, if the said person's "appointment time" is before your booking. Usually fist in first served. Not here.
