The amount of times the staff have called me being disrespectful for just doing my full time job as a singer/songwriter has been overwhelming.

I know that my job is difficult to understand and I work odd hours of the night (11pm till 2am ) but that is because my production team is in America ( shady records ) so they work on a different time zone to Australia.

I’ve tried explaing this to every staff member every single shift and or whenever they stop me from singing, from earning a living wage as a disabled client. ( I was in a near total fatal car crash in 2018 )

I work from my bedroom and from my phone, it’s not like the old days where you need to go into a booth to record. I have special software on my iPhone downloaded that’s adaptive and recording sounds 24/7 so my team and pick and choose what songs I write or collaborate with other artists on.

I’ve been in the music industry since the age of four years old with my first EP lady sovereign coming out in 2004 with the hit single love me or hate me.

I took a step back from music for mental heath reasons but I’m back with full force and back with songs on the radio now.

The most complete lifesaver not only by the owner but by the entire company who saved me from being left for dead on the streets and the amount of support from them is immense since I’ve never been supported or even helped by my own biological family resulting in me having 15 individual diagnosis and disorders instead THEY were the ones who took me in THEY were the ones to help me back on my feet and THEY were the ones to give me hope about my life when the lights were dimmed. They opened my eyes to a better future and that there’s always hope through the right people and these guys are pure angels.

EXTREMELY POOR
Charging NDIS between $2K-$3K a day 4 a bed & TV.
My support coordinator was assured in writing, of the plethora of activities I would be engaged in every day & as a group on the weekend (otherwise i did not want 2 go)
A complete LIE. Not a single activity. NO LUNCH WAS EVER provided.
Dinner consisted of "Coles brand" frozen meat pies or some frozen crumbed garbage. NO FRESH MEAT, VEGETABLES, NOR FRUIT.

After 2days I told one of her daughters (mainly all family employed) I wanted to go home. I was firmly advised I was required to stay 4 more days. I felt TRAPPED in this very basic house. It was an awful feeling, I felt really vulnerable.
STAY WELL AWAY, especially if u have a physical disability. Not wheelchair accessible via doorways or bathrooms. Using my walker to access the bathroom was a massive feat, & i was in extreme pain. The make shift portable ramps are not compliant & are way to short at a very steep angle.
OWNER VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. There were 2 other residents living in this house full time, they thought nothing about making rude comments about the other resident, this made me feel very uncomfortable, highly inappropriate.
Has been reported to both NDIS QUALITY & CARE COMMISSION & NDIS FRAUD.

I thought NDIS was to assist participants NOT BE EXPLOITED BY UNETHICAL PEOPLE MAKING $$ MILLION+.

Very supportive staff and variety of engagement with community to adress social development and wellbeing of clients. Understanding staffs along with variety of policies in place to assist client with independence development.
