I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone . I was always rushed through my appointments with Dr Nathan Taylor and his receptionist should not be working in Healthcare as has no understanding of empathy . I was treated extremely badly after my ablation procedure at RNSH on Feb 17th and I put in a formal complaint ! I was referred to this hospital by Dr Taylor and I have never had a follow up call from him in regards to this or any follow up when he was told I was in extreme pain after the procedure ! Avoid these pain specialists at all costs !

UPDATE: Still no reply or concern shown by this place !!! Don’t go anywhere near here if you’re in pain ! They have no understanding of empathy or idea of what compassion is !’nn

After 3 months of seeing a doctor I still have no response for my medication. Even my doctor has tried and tried to get my notes from the appointment and we are being ghosted. The Appointment was good but I paid $500 out of pocket just to be ghosted.

Update. My files have been received. The Practice manager was great and was able to fix the issue. Thank you.

I am only 30 years old and have suffered from chronic pain for the past 8 years or so, plus spinal deformities since childhood. While I’ve been to numerous doctors and hospitals throughout my life, I am happy to say that the Northern Pain Centre has been my best and most hopeful experience by far! My initial interactions with PA Rashmi were very positive - she was professional, organised and attentive.

I met with Dr Robert Wright who is extremely respectful and compassionate and he has a wealth of knowledge on chronic pain. He proposed solutions to me which other pain specialists deemed not possible or had put in the too hard basket. I have visited two other pain clinics in Sydney before, only to be dismissed and not believed, but Dr Wright made me feel so validated and understood.

Kindness and empathy are so important when you are faced with debilitating chronic pain and I definitely experienced this at the Northern Pain Centre! It is clear that they are willing to go above and beyond for their patients and really value their individualised care! Could not recommend Dr Wright and Northern Pain Centre enough - I am so grateful!!!

I had done some research to find some
One who may be able to help with my si joint pain.

I made an appointment and got a referral to the clinic and the clinic put me with Martinw holford. I was very suprised to find out she did not do any of the procedures I went to this place after researching her husband.

The initial consult went for a long time that was okay she advised to do a test injection.

We did that and it showed a positive result that I did have si joint pain.

I asked what is the next thing we can do for testament she said oh maybe pro or maybe more cortizone or maybe rfa she did not seem to really know and said i will have to talk to my husband …. I did find this a little o.d that he is not involved with these face to face discussions ect and only met on the day of procedure . You don’t go to a sergon and see some one who doesn’t do the procedures ?.

We did the next procedure and all went welll I think it slightly helped maybe 10/20 percent.

I also had a credit of an overpaid bill on my account and ever got that back.

I have followed up with them some weeks later as they reccomended seing a sergon for a si joint fusion however no help as to who I could see or no referrals.

I reached out about a referral and they wanted me to pay for a follow up even tho I was told there was no other treatments to help me so why do I need to do this and since asking those questions I have been ignored over email ect woth no response.

Lovely people however I feel very let down in these areas it should be made aware that the person doing you assement doesn’t not no how to do the treatments and is not qualified in this very un professional I feel like they took my money the. Didn’t care to refer me elswhere when I ended who to see for the sergery they said I have no idea.

Dr Brooker was very thorough with his examination and his easy manner made my visit very pleasant. Excellent care and speedy attention. Great support staff answer any questions. My procedure went well and was virtually painless. I would definitely recommend Dr Charles Brooker and the anaesthetic staff, especially Dr Tim O’Loughlin, RN Barbs and the ward staff at RNS Private.

I am 71yrs old and almost feel like the bionic woman or Humpty Dumpty being put back together again

I have been fortunate to always (thanks to private health membership) been able to access top Specialist

To have been referred to Dr Nathan Taylor & Dr Matthew Burke has been a huge turning point for me. The procedures have given me a life back I never thought I would experience. Living 24/7 with chronic back pain is very deliberating & depressing

The whole team at Northern Pain Centre are the most caring health care workers I have ever experienced

Don't suffer any longer get a referral from your GP and start on your new journey
