At my annual mammogram at North Shore Health Hub yesterday I was attended by Jessica who was very professional, explaining each aspect of the procedure as she went along and was mindful of my apprehension at being handled because of previous injuries sustained at another facility. I am always comfortable attending the Hub where staff are always kind, gentle and courteous.

Yesterday I had a colonoscopy performed in your new hub. I was more than impressed. This facility is just amazing, beautifully fitted out, incredibly friendly lovely staff, amazing reception and such a professional, warm and pleasant experience, making a not so nice procedure into an agreeable and accommodating one. Well done to those who run it. I will chose to have any future procedure that I need to have to be performed at this new and impressive facility.

I don't particularly enjoy going to the specialist, it generally involves getting poked around places that generally don't see the light of day....

And for good reason! 😳

ANYWAY.... Too much information...

Very, very nice building and fitout. Easy directions to get to. I decided to use the pay and display parking and a few minutes I was at my appointment and heading home... Very easy if you ask me.

Some tips for those who don't want to take out a second mortgage to park.... but keep this to yourself...

Don't tell anyone....

If you're up for a short stroll, park at Home HQ on Reserve Road... I can't believe the pricing at the Hospital, they charge like a wounded Bull!

The facility is fabulous, especially if you are seeing multiple specialists.
The conceirge is a joke though. Playing on his phone. I asked him to call me a taxi - his response was 'A taxi? can't you just call an uber yourself'
Lazy good for nothing!
Everywhere else in the hospital there is a direct link to the taxi rank!

This new Hub is state of the art. My day surgery experience with the staff at Ramsey Health was first class all the way. This is how a hospital experience should be for everyone.

The staff at the centre are great but the service is atrocious re answering the phone, I rang from my office in Chatswood, drove from my office to the Centre at St Leonards and no one had answered the phone when I arrived at the front desk of the Centre a half hour later. I am trying to call them now to change an appointment and have been on hold for 20 minutes now with no one answering. It is a chronic problem. I have passed this on to Management on several occasions and it is clearly not being addressed. This is a cancer centre, not a retail shop. It really is extremely poor and extremely frustrating. It is about not having enough staff and greed.
