Family member with multiple mental health issues, only given medication no actual treatment. Case worker encouraged (and succeeded in doing so) my family member to disconnect from family support, advised my family member to break the law, wanted prescription medication including Benzo’s to be left in an open/unattended letter box. Family member has got worse since attending here

My brother needed support for on going mental health and housing support. They said they couldnt help...... Absolutely disgusting. They are ment to help I thought . They just couldn't be bothered. No understanding of x addicts trying to get help and support. They just looked at his past Addictions not his on going mental health. How sad people can't get the support they are searching for.

Please stop coming to my property on weekends un-announced you are not welcome here without letting me know beforehand.

And stop leaving your stupid business cards around the front doorstep that says "Please Call Me" when your phone lines only operate on the weekdays, Not weekends. Be more specific. Your business card obviously says (08)8468 3800, which is a weekday operating phone line, FYI.

Lastly, you don't even know when you called me as your card says "Called at approx. 7:30pm". Don't contact me that late, on a weekend.

What is wrong with you guys?! Stay away from me. It's actually considered as Trespassing, may this be a formal warning to you.

They do force you to take unneeded drugs for reasons that don't exist !! Put you on a treatment order because they just won't listen or trust you !! You end humiliated embarrassed angry hurt demoralised!! Steer clear !! After my dealings with them and non Australian doctors trust another mental health services again never !! Thinking about legal action !! Compensation for the stress pain wrong dangerous drugs !! My asthma flared I could have fallen rebroke my previous broken leg so shaky walking too tired to function!! Asked to have dose lowered ignored told it was the low dose no it wasn't !! Degraded and hurt !! STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS 😡😡

From the receptionist Margaret all the way to the centre manager Ancy - this centre is atrocious. I cannot believe that Northern Health recommends this for any; let alone complex mental health cases such as my own. I was appalled from my first introduction to an unkempt registrar who was unsure of a medication type to my enforced referral to the clinical psychiatrist who all seemed incompetent in using their own processes and completely undermined with the opposite of a “can do” attitude. I urge you, if you’ve had a similar occurance: complain to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission, Victoria. You can call them or write to them to ensure this centre is held accountable for its sub standard practices.

worst clinic ever. they have stopped my participants medication cold turkey. when they aren't allowed to do that. i do not recommend this clinic at all.

I have schizoaffective disorder, and when I had my last episode in 2021, the clinic didn't take my psychosis seriously. They told me to take my medication, and made someone from the clinic visit me to make sure I took it. I didn't take it Infront of them and they lied to my parents saying I did. They were supposed to return the following day to check on me. No one did. I should have been put as an inpatient in the hospital that night. Instead with the neglect on the clinics part, I wound up naked in thornbury during broad daylight in the full trench of psychosis. The police were called and then was my psychosis taken seriously as I waa brought straight to the hospital.

I have avoided mental health services for decades as I had seen others experiencing poor treatment and a treatment that lacked compassion.
I was concerned I would experience the same.
Unfortunately my fears were confirmed and I had a degrading experience that left me feeling judgement and diiscrimination. I hope the practitioner who did my assessment doesn't have to experience the degradation I experienced.
