Dear Public, Dr Charles Austin Woods is lovely and very professional. He is a valued member of the local medical community and I am grateful for his medical service. May his future working endeavours continue.

I received a referral on the 29th of March for my daughter to see Dr Austin, with the referral faxed directly to his office. I called the following day to make an appointment as advised by my GP. I was rudely told that I can’t call to book an appointment, instead they would contact me. It has now been two months and I still have not received any correspondence. This is absolutely awful service from somewhere that specialises in mental health & kids with needs. I have since searched the internet hoping I could possibly get some kind of communication happening via email, but there is NO WAY to contact him without making a phone call.

This is incredibly frustrating because my GP is now on maternity leave, and I instead have to take my daughter to see another GP to get another referral to get her the help she needs - not to mention the extreme difficulty there is to currently get a Drs appointment!

Not impressed.

We love Chuck. He listens and helps in so many ways and has been amazing for my child and for me as well by helping my child. He always checks to see how I’m doing and how we’re all coping as a family. I’ve been taking my child to him for a year now and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was referred to Dr Austin-Wood by a GP dealing with depression. Waited 5 months expecting some mental health help. Was asked by Dr Austin-Wood after three sessions with no mental health solutions to deal with my issues, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?"

I was offer stimulants to decrease my appetite/weight in my 2nd appointment which was extremely triggering to me after spending half an hour talking about my issues with food.
