My family and I have always had polite and brilliant service from everyone at New Albion Medical Centre.
When you make an appointment to see the Drs or Nurse please remember they have a full schedule and are trying to assist all their patients every day.
Maybe as patients we expect too much from them instead of being thankful that the medical team and staff are there for us.
I would rather go to New Medical Centre instead of Shellharbour Hospital.

Rude and disregarding gp, dr philip healey, told me my issues and documents wernt important to him. Albsolutley disgusted with this treatment and he doesnt make accurate file notes either. Totally unprofessional and needs to retire!!!!!

Editing this review, it has been over a month since i have heard from the principle of the practice regarding my complaint which was internally being handled after being black mailed to withdraw my complaint from HCCC once i recieved some important medical documents. I was told that he would speak with Dr healey and get back to me with an outcome and i have not heard from him since i dropped my complaint. So much for not wanting your practice to look bad. Absolute dump of a practice with no patient regard. What dr says that you arnt important to your face, Dr Philip Healey thats who. So basically drs can speak to u however they like and get away with it... i think i deserve a little more respect then oh maybe he had a bad day, everyone makes mistakes...

I was able to get a same day appointment, arrived just before my appointed time to see Dr Philip Healey (Disclosure, he is my brother!) and the lovely receptionist directed me to go straight in, still before my time. He was very professional, attended to the problem at hand quickly, and then recommended a few additional checks. Overall a good medical experience.

Do not waste your time booking with this clinic. They do not accept new patients but will happily let you book online and then cancel on the day of booking. There is only one doctor in the practice and he does not accept new patients.

Receptionist is rude, dismissive and arrogant.

Seriously, book anywhere but here.

Wouldn’t recommend. Made an online booking and was contacted to say because I hadn’t attended this clinic within a year that I cannot see the Dr. As a young mum I needed medication so I was well enough to look after my baby, it’s so hard to get into Dr’s at the moment & it’s very sad they are turning our local community away.

Having moved to the area, found that this surgery wasn't the best in regards to providing us with medical advice. Doctors do not work everyday.
Always need to wait for a appointment and long wait times to see a doctor.
Overlooking a serious issue, not pro active in diagnosis which led to other complications.
Have since moved to another medical practice with better outcome.

Close at 5pm - turn phones off at 4:45pm, woah - so helpful.
The front desk staff could use some training in manners and being polite, they speak to clients as if we HAVE to attend this centre. It's disgraceful and after 1 year I will be looking for a new practice as I can no longer accept their ways of "Welcoming"

Terrible medical advise given to my very sick daughter.... the doctor we saw did a lot of guesswork four weeks of guessing what was wrong, we went elsewhere for a second opinion and now she is on the mend! I wouldn't have even given this practise one star but had to rate!
