I would advise against visiting this GP due to their high consultation fee. My appointment lasted 17 minutes, although the actual consultation time was around 10 minutes for the doctor to write a script, and another 5 minutes answering questions about whether I’ve been there before—despite having informed both the nurse and reception of my previous visits. Additionally, there was another 5 minutes spent discussing a referral letter to a skin specialist, and the remaining time was spent on the QV creams website, which I did not request as I am already using those creams.

I decided to see Dr Dao because her interests are mental health and women’s health. I was looking for a new good doctor and I thought that because she has interests in these areas it would mean that she had a sense of empathy and understanding. Everything I said during the appointment she questioned and judged, although I suffer from a chronic inflammatory pain condition she treated it like it was nothing and refused to prescribe me pain medication, instead treating me like some drug addict and questioning how often I use it and how much. Anyone who knows anything about endometriosis knows how severe and debilitatingly painful the condition is, something Dr Kumar understood whilst he was treating me during his time at this clinic. Unfortunately he has left now and I have yet to find a good doctor here that takes me seriously and understands my needs. Because I suffer from a mental illness doctors stigmatise me and choose to disregard my physical pain even though I am diagnosed with two diseases. If you would like to avoid judgement and a doctor that treats you like you are in an interrogation room then please avoid this doctor.
