Dr. Suman has been our family doctor of choice since 2019. She is approachable, empathetic and is genuinely concerned with our issues when we visit. She spends quality time with us to not only provide the care and assistance we need at the time but to also provide advice on caring for our health ongoing. She doesn’t just randomly hand out scripts willy nilly to treat symptoms alone, she is more concerned with getting to the bottom of issues by doing tests and then prescribing medications based on the actual proven causes. We had been searching for a great doctor for many years after going through multiple medical centres across the Gold Coast and are happy that we have finally found the doctor we need. Shout out to her nurses and front counter staff too who are also friendly and great to deal with.

I have recently started seeing Dr. Suman. After going through a string of many doctors whom wanted you in and out as quick as possible and didn’t give you the time of day to work out what is wrong. We’ve been seeing Dr Suman for around 2 years now, she also seen me through my entire second pregnancy and helped managed my iron deficiency and fat ankles so well. She is kind and straight up and my son actually likes going to check ups with her.

I’ve noticed she’s getting busier so sometimes there is a wait time from your actual appointment. All and all we are very happy with My GP Parkwood and Dr Sumans care provided.

Firstly very clean and tidy waiting room, wonderful staff and fantastic doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr Suman Paentia. This practice has gone above and beyond any other general practitioner and doctors service I have ever received. Dr Sumin is the most caring doctor I've ever met. They are always warm and accommodating to myself and my children. The receptionist is wonderful and very polite and the nursing staff is very friendly. Having recently had my second child I felt very supported during my pregnancy. Every pregnancy appointment she showed so much care and understanding towards my questions and concerns and when I was stressed within the pregnancy she made me feel calm.
When I take my children there Dr Sumin is wonderful towards my boys, my little toddler can be a handful and she's so patient and kind with him, showing him toys to keep him settled and relaxed. This practice is breastfeeding friendly as well. My 6 week old had his needles and the nurse happily allowed me to breastfeed while we finished up with the vaccination paperwork. They also offer privacy rooms if you are uncomfortable breastfeeding openly.

Dr Suman is perfect for anyone seeking a caring, compassionate and understanding GP. They are very efficient with waiting times and always have availability to book my family in when we need.

I couldn’t rate Dr Suman highly enough. After I was involved car crash last year, it has been a tough journey getting myself back on track. She has been really caring and supportive. She is very understanding and always gives me the best advice. The nurse and admin staff are also lovely.
