Im not here to scare anyone or be a pain in the a*s,
Im just hear to share my story, at least maby be a help to someone.
I just had a medical abortion 2 days ago.
After pill 1 i was perfectly fine for about 1hour.
2hours later;
- Nausea
- Tiredness
- Sleep
- Light headed
- Cold

That day till the morning i slept like a dead cow. I couldnt even eat anything even though i took the nausea pills they had given my appetiate was nowhere to be found.
Day 2 i continued to be the same then i decided to take the 2pill as the doctor had recorded after 36 hours.
After taking pill 2 again i slept like a cow waking up at 3:00am with me / my husband / and our whole bed covered in blood.
I rushed to the bathroom to get changed and then i got light headed slammed my face on our tile floor then managed to get on my knees.
I yelled out to my husband then apparently kept passing out.
My jaw was apparently locked and had blood with huge clots pooring out of my as if it was pouring out of a bucket.
My husband managed to call an ambulance;
When they came in i was shivvering + after paramedics having a look my blood pressure was low as 7/4.
They said i was in shock.
And rushed me to our closest ER.
There the ERA DR checked me out and said i had a clot still inside and managed to clean it out.

After that my bleeding stopped and my blood pressure was back to normal.
I dont know how much blood i lost.
But thank god they checked and said i was fine.

Now ;
All i want to say is dont do medical abortion home alone.
If you make the decision not to do this in the hospital / Under a dr’s supervision / or as a normal surgery abortion ,
Please make sure not to sleep.
I was told by the ER Dr that if i hadnt woken up ,
My bodey would have gone into shock during my sleep because of the amount of blood i was losing and this would have stopped my heart - ending with death.

Please !
Look please dont do this.
Have a normal surgery abortion and get it over and done with.
I just wanted to share my story -
I know what happened to me is like a 1/1000 chance but this could be you aswell.
Know the risks - Understand the risks
Because yes ! You can die !

I had my IUD removed three weeks ago and I had a very thrilling experience with the receptionists,nurses and doctor.
After my IUD was removed I wasn't even given painkillers and went home without any meds cos I wasn't aware that I was to be given medication.
So after 1 week,one of the nurses called to check on my progress and asked if I was given any meds after the procedure and I of course said no.And she went like they should have given you some tablets incase of any pain.
All in all my experience was superb.

Treatment was good but it’s bit costly. I shocked to see my bill. For people who don’t have Medicare will be costly. Waiting time bit high even appointment. Hospital ambiance is good. Staff was in hurry when I visited not sure that much busy all days. This is nearest hospital for parramatta cbd people

I came from far away to visit this place because their website said they were open until 6 PM. But when I arrived, they were already closed. This is very disappointing and waste of time. It's not right to mislead people with incorrect hours.

I was recommended this place by my GP however I have called them 3 times within business hours and been on hold for 30mins each time with no answer. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Dr and nurses consults were good. Dr Philip and the nurse were great very understanding and caring.unfortunately I had the worst experience with one of the nurse (Karen) in recovery room. She was in hurry to go home, she stressed me out a lot and forcing me to call my support person to come and pick me up earlier . When I made the appointment, they told me that I can stay until 6pm. I end up getting Uber and go home by myself because they didn’t want to stay too late at work. To all nurses who treat patients with no respect, please quit if you not enjoying your job and give this opportunity to some who love this job. You not working for free, that’s you duty to be kind and look after patients. I paid $730 for the procedure. You didn’t do anything for free.

The waiting is a bit longer, at least they let all the patients know before their appointment even sending us text messages or through email so everything is understandable and no complaints at all. Nurses, doctors and even all ladies at receptionist are lovely, I fell welcome whenever I arrived and I can't thank you enough for all the help you have given me. Especially after my surgery I woke up, first thing I see was two lovely nurses asked me for a coffee and etc. I also received a call from the nurse few weeks after my surgery to check how I feel. Highly recommended, and again thank you 🙏 Marie Stopes Westmead & the team for great job, well done 👏

The advertised “24/7” aftercare line is actually only available 8am - 5pm Mondays to Fridays! Not to mention anytime you do actually get through to aftercare they actually just tell you to speak with your gp even though they’re supposed to be the specialists! I’ve gone through MSI twice now for terminations and both times I’ve ended up with nothing but complications and absolutely no support
