The staff at MFM were so empathetic and compassionate and were trying their best to help diagnose and treat my vomiting and heart burn and middle ear infection . I was feeling so sick they asked me if I wanted to go to hospital and rang the ambulance for me .
Dr Chris checked my ear and declared my suspicion and prescribed for me not only strong antibiotics but wafers to help ease my nausea 2 of which they provided me with prior to me leaving .
I loved both nurses , one of whom - Mary - was such a breath of fresh air , comforter and tried her best to ensure I was comfortable .
I must of been there for close to 2 hours - the team works so well together and I would highly recommend them .
They even rang me the following day to check on me - thank you so much for your care and empathy .If it wasn’t for them the remainder 2 days I f our holiday would have been cut short .

Dr Amanda Wilson is hands down the most knowledgeable and caring GP I have ever seen in the 40 years I have been alive. I wish the medical system had more doctors like her.

Went in for a consultation with Dr Chris had to get my elbow drained , but they had no steroid injection in stock on hand . Was there two minutes and had to go round and look for the product for the Doctor, Finally got the product after two days went back and was build $180 for the last consultation, which took one minute and sent away looking for drugs for their clinic. Asked why I was getting charged for a consultation that led me running around to chemist, Was told by the rude receptionist Ray that that was the consultation, plus money for writing the script that they didn’t have on stock. Then also would’ve been charged for the consultation bringing the product. There’s no way I was excepting that so now they’ve lost my whole families, trust and respect and will not be Returning. GPs have been getting away with it long enough, ripping off people with the billing and ripping off Medicare if anyone else has been ripped off by this Clinic please share and report to Medicare.

From the moment you enter the practice, you feel welcome. Anna, Rae and Maddie are friendly and helpful. If you need a nurse, Mary's smile and manner help you to feel relaxed. We all visit Dr Krys for skin checks. Lisa (Practice Manager) is always on hand to help if necessary. My daughter, my son and I see Dr Siobhan or Dr Amanda and feel that they are both very caring, empathetic and take the time necessary to help. My husband and son believe Dr Matt's manner and way of explaining information is terrific. A big thank you to all staff at Mooloolaba Family Medicine.

Discriminatory Experience with Dr. Wolstencroft

I recently had an incredibly disheartening experience with Dr. Wolstencroft. As someone with a disability, I expected to receive fair and compassionate care, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

Dr. Wolstencroft displayed blatant discrimination during my visit, treating me differently solely because of my disability. This not only compromised my trust in healthcare professionals but also left me feeling marginalized and disrespected.

I strongly discourage anyone seeking inclusive and empathetic medical care from considering Dr. Wolstencroft. Discrimination has no place in healthcare, and it's disappointing to encounter such behavior from a supposed healthcare professional. My experience was so negative that I would rate it only 1 star, and I hope others are spared from facing similar discrimination in their pursuit of medical assistance.
