The Place and the contact lines pretty useless they cannot be bothered to help at all neither the police. We understand there is assessment to do, but people whose not right in the end can pretend and only way they can assist and support is the person shown and visibly mentally unwell.

literally we call them to asses the situation again cause the female in the house as a house mate was stalking and threatening the woman making the life just not peaceful to begin with. This is the definition of why we have the worse public health system out there. That mentally ill person in the house can also pretend to be normal for a bit but for a second after the police left they go back to make life miserable for everyone and honestly nothing we can do about it

Very disappointed with service. They have a cannot help attitude, I would prefer a service with, I can help or find someone who can. You cannot Diagnose someone with mental health issues. Without talking to the person suffering.

RE: Werribee Mercy Mental Health Triage. This is the only place I could leave a review about this catchments service.

Have been waiting to speak to someone from the mental health triage line for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I am fed up with my inability to access public mental health care for a review of my medication from a psychiatrist.. I have a 20 month old daughter that needs me, to help myself. I cannot afford to wait for, or pay for out of pocket private care. And I just can’t get a break through.

Also rang up and spoke to the mental health triage line 1 week ago and was asked if my daughter was at risk of harm, which I assured him despite my declining mental health, I am physically able to meet my daughters needs. Asked if I was currently suicidal, and I was finding it difficult to express that my sucidal thoughts were not present at this point in time, but have struggled with a history of suicidal ideation and before I could go into depth he proceeded to provide a list of psychologists. I was left feeling depleted and isolated after this call, and and ringing up to demand further assessment and assert my honest and desperate need for intervention before I loose my battle to mental health.

It is imperative that these triage workers pick up their game and consider enhancing their skill sets to provide correct allocation and empathetic understanding and assessment of people presenting with desperate need of help.

I will forwarding my complaint to the necessary complaints commissioner for mental health for making my right to access mental health care seemingly impossible.

Complaint to Mental Health and Well-being Commissioner has been submitted whilst still waiting for someone to pick up my call.
Wait time at present is 2 hours.

Was here after an overdose and was promised I would be supported and safe and have never felt more isolated in my life. I understand that they get busy but maybe refuse new patients if you can’t take care of them. I never got a treatment plan, was just dismissed when I was upset and given high doses of medication to calm me down so I wasn’t anyone’s problem and just fell asleep. Ended up leaving against medical advice because I was worse off than when I came in. The only resource they gave me was the CATT team which was already offered to me in ED. Find any other mental health place because I guarantee you will be better off not going here.

Absolutely heartless lady picked up my call. Was wishing to call the the CAT team for a friend who was suicidal. I called Monday 2nd of September after hours. Horrible service and had to hang up the phone as she was extreamly unhelpful. Had to take matters into my own hands

Recently had a "team" of mental health "experts" come to my elderly mothers house for some reason or another. The guy leading the team asked my mother if she could remember him from a few weeks prior and because she could not remember said he had concerns about her then promptly proceeded to make arrangements to take her from her home to a location he was not sure about. I have inquired about these "experts" at Monash and I have been told to go through freedom of information for the facts surrounding her near removal from her home... These guys need to take a good long look at themselves.. Avoid

0 stars.

Waited 40 mins on hold, I then typed in my number for a call back as I’m worried about a family member who is interstate and has been admitted into this institutions care.

3 hours later still no call back…

I’d be better off jumping on a plane from Queensland and flying down there and finding my family member myself.

This place sounds horrible.
