Bit of a disappointment, for a Main Street of Darwin CBD. After so many years since Darwin was rebuilt, you would expect a bit more care and vibe i guess. Lots of retail places, buildings, are abandoned, empty and there are mainly pubs. Could be heaps better even the esplanade is neglected as it should be one of Darwin’s prime but it’s not because of local ideological liberal government…. That S just one of the reasons why people are leaving Darwin more than visiting it. Fish always stinks from the head they say…

Yesterday I was helped by a wonderful, patient shop assistant in the Darwin store, named Eisha. She went above and beyond in helping me set up my new phone and clearly explained everything, even though my questions were probably a bit silly. The parking is the best and very convenient. The air-con is nice and cool. This is a good small mall in the centre of Darwin. Now that The Chemist Warehouse has moved in, it has taken this mall to another level. In the past I did grocery shopping at Woolworth's, but the parking there is garbage. I like this joint. There was a bakery at the entrance to Coles, but they were too fancy to sell pies. They're gone now. This mall may be a bit tired, but this is Darwin not Monte Carlo.
