My family have been attending Miranda Medical Centre for over 30 years now. We have always received the very best of care. My medical conditions are varied and my doctors are fantastic. The staff at the front desk and the nurses are great. Exceptional service.

I'm very glad this medical centre is here. I was travelling through Sydney and after staying with family nearby, I became unwell and needed a doctor. I arrived at opening time where there were about a dozen people waiting outside. Once open at 8am the counter staff processed everyone very quickly and I only had to wait a few minutes before seeing a lovely Doctor Akhter. I filled my prescription at the chemist next door and that took less than 2 minutes! I am very pleased with the service I received.

Able to make fairly last minute appointment but then disappointed to have an hour wait, without a heads up. Dr was lovely - and thorough. Great to be able to have onsite blood test. Shame about being sent away to pay for a mask from the chemist. Also a shame about the reception area being barricaded, forcing people (including seniors) to stand back and try to communicate through masks. Not a great vibe. Glad to have weekend medical services though…..UPDATE promised faithfully by the Dr that I could definitely speak with him on Monday to get blood test results since they would determine whether or not I can travel. DISAPPOINTED in the rude receptionist who abruptly told me I would get a call and then hung up. Should never have believed I’d get the service I was promised. ?

Always running late. Sometimes the Dr isn’t even in the Surgery… and I am told.. “sorry the Dr hasn’t arrived!” I have waited hours for an appointment that was booked and confirmed. I have my own business, and time is money. My time doesn’t seem to be valued or respected at this clinic. It’s appalling service.

Booked my appointment for a skin check for 1030am. Arrived early. Watched 6 other patents go into the doctor between 1030 and 1110. Then I had to go back to work, not having seen the doctor. I got a call from reception at 1150 because it was my turn.

Unhappy customer - I was charged $110 for my 14 year old son to see a doctor and was told that if I changed my mind I would not get a refund. We waited 1 hour to see the GP who was pleasant. I made a telehealth appointment to get his xray results two days later however the doctor did not call in the 2 hours that I waited for her call. I was then Informed that this was because the results had not been received by the medical centre even though the imaging centre downstairs confirmed with me that they had faxed the results 2 days before. I called the medical centre again today and was told that they did not have the results and that they receive 100’s of faxes each day so could not possibly locate our results. I was told to call again tomorrow to see if the results were received. Might be quicker for me to walk downstairs, get the results from the imaging centre and take them upstairs to reception. Ill just take more time off work to do this. It would also be great to at some point to receive a receipt for the fee I paid so that I can claim the rebate from Medicare. Meanwhile my son cannot play sports as we don’t know the extent of his injury.

It seems appealing to pay for a one off fee of 180 then bulk billed for visits afterwards. But the Dr Naing had us in and out in under 10 minutes and laughed when asked if she could do a mental health plan! Can anyone recommend a thorough Doctor that takes interest in patients from this centre.
