Raina on reception is wonderful. We have had a few accounting issues and Raina has taken our issue on board and constantly follows us up until it’s resolved. She is so accomodating. We are very happy with our Dr as well.

I have a habit of forgetting to make an appointment / Teleconference with my Dr.
so then I have to contact Reception and explain what I have done … again !
I have never had an issue with ‘Reception’ and without fail they always find me a suitable appointment.
I found Reception, always professional, courteous, patient and understanding.
Reception, is on the ‘front line’ for Mind Oasis Clinic handling all requests at a moments notice, never knowing what the next phone call may bring but do so in a friendly and cheerful manner !

I LIKE MY DOCTOR but NOT the service. The administrative staff aren't helpful or empathetic. You have to pay the fee when you book your consultation and if you don't have the money at the time of booking, you've got to wait longer to see your doctor, as in my case (yes, I did ask for leniency but was told that I didn't need a new script until April anyway so there was nothing I could do. I wanted to personally speak to the doctor to explain my reason for wanting to book early, but after a lot of wasting time trying to call and email getting that far, I was going through a lot of stress and couldn't be bothered chasing it up). At the end of February, I wanted to make an advanced booking for April for a medication review but I didn't have the money at the time of booking and my doctor gets booked up pretty quickly. Now that I finally have the money, he's not available until 4 weeks time. I've used my last script and my meds run out in 4 days! I have an alternate medication to take but don't know what dose to take because I've only used it as a topper. I KNEW this would happen which is why I wanted to get on top of it early but as usual, I've just got to deal with it and hope I can figure out the right dosage until I see him. Very bad service for people who are already suffering. Money before patients seems to be the company's priority. I recommend new patients look elsewhere, especially after reading the other negative reviews. From the outside, it looks like the administration are aware of their unhappy clients but don't care. I wasn't going to give a review but after the 3rd email reminder from the clinic to do so, here's the honest truth. I hope they do something about it!

The first calls with meeting setup, made me feel
unsure…. , , however once I had my first initial consultation with Dr Leah George was all a positive experience, I felt like I was unveiling everything whilst she listened, reading fhe report she sent to my Doctor, Dr Leah George had attentively listened, absorbed everything and gave a full thorough analysis along with feedback from my family and past medical history. It wasn’t all analysed after my first meeting but my second. I highly recommend Dr Leah George she is kind, professional, understanding and patient. Finally I feel so much better and living a life as how I felt I should have been from a younger age.

Mind Oasis Clinic offers obtainable Psychiatric appointments when other clinics have long wait-lists, from experience up to 6 or 8months. I was on a wait-list for a clinic for 4months before finding the Mind Oasis Clinic, I received preliminary documentation within a week, and was able to make an initial appointment a month later. I was happy to be able to choose a Psychiatrist whom I felt I, personally, could be comfortable with and to date I have not regretted my choice. My Psychiatrist has listened to me with an understanding yet objective manner, they were also thorough in their evaluation to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
I have not been to the clinic in person, so have only dealt with it over the phone and through telehealth appointments, which I normally avoid. My psychiatrist has always made me feel comfortable and listened to so I do not notice the detachment of the screen. I would, and have, recommended the Psychiatrist and therefore clinic, to others.

Very disappointing experience. Have been here 4 times, including my initial assessment.

$380 for 30 min follow up appointments, paid in advance.

The psychiatrist has almost always been 10 mins late but cuts off at the hour, so you basically pay for a 15-20 min appointment. The psychiatrist is nice but the time management is poor.

The appointment is rushed so you don’t get to say all you want or need to say. If you need help or need to ask a follow up question then your email gets ignored so you are forced to wait until your next appointment or pay another $380 to ask your question.

One instance I paid $380 for the psychiatrist to tell me to redo a test to double check the results. A quick email would have been nice instead of paying full price for an 5-10 min appointment with no benefit.

Things are explained in the appointment but no notes or no treatment plan is sent to you. You basically get the medication and then have to figure out the rest of it for yourself. Why can’t they even just send a factsheet about our type, our medication, and where to explore additional support?! Something to help us understand this more. Such a simple act that can go a long way. We have ADHD after all, follow up notes are necessary.

I don’t even want to start on the issues with the admin team receiving my documents and test results, it almost turned into a full time job for me.

Having said that, I was diagnosed on my first appointment, and medicated by my third. The psychiatrist was also kind, even if they are rushed. Perhaps this clinic will be fine for you if you have the means to pay and all you need is medication and have no other conflicting issues with insomnia etc.

Overall I’m very disappointed and I’m going to look for another clinic. Hopefully one that wants to provide a more wholistic and genuine approach to helping people with ADHD. I don’t even think Mind Oasis Clinic will care to make any improvements despite asking me to submit a review.

I have been a patient of a doctor at Mind Oasis for almost 2 years now, and while I can't fault the doctor, the clinic itself is beyond TERRIBLE!

They have cost cut every corner they can, but still charge disgustingly high fees. The appointment system is online, which is fine, but if you need to discuss something that doesn't fit into the online system, their contact points are useless. The online "chat" is just gives you answers from their FAQ, there is no "chat". If you reach an issue that isn't answered by the FAQ it just stops responding, or resets and starts asking you the same questions again.

There is no way to submit a request or message. Clicking "Submit a Request" asks for login details that don't exist.

If you call them, you get an extremely long message about how you should just go online for all your help, but if you wait long enough, you may actually get through to someone. But, they have outsourced their reception duties to an overseas centre, and seems like there's only ever one person answering that phone. This one person often needs to "confirm" things with the doctor, and then never actually calls back.

I would absolutely ditch Mind Oasis if it were actually possible to easily/cheaply transfer my diagnosis to a competent clinic.

I wouldn't send anyone I care about to this place.

Awful service. God help you if ever need to speak to someone about an administrative or prescription issue. You will be sent to an offshore call centre where your request will be buried, never to see the light of day. You can call, email or try any other form of communication but you should expect no response. You will waste hours chasing them up for any issue.

They simply don't care. An awful disposition for this type of service.

Run a mile. Find a caring place who isn't chasing the dollar as their highest priority.
