Terrible reception experience. The receptionist (probably filipine lady) took long to answer, sounded completely uninterested, like she couldn’t wait to end the call. Unprofessional and unhelpful—felt like I was bothering her just by asking basic questions. If this is how they treat people over the phone, I can’t imagine the actual service in person.

On a recent visit to Darwin, I became ill. Booking an appointment at this practice was easy, and they kindly agreed to see me the next day. Mask wearing was mandatory, although I had no Covid symptoms.

The surgery is neat, clean and bright with loads of info pamphlets on various health issues. The secretary was polite and efficient. As a first-time visitor to this surgery, I was required to fill in the usual forms. I waited only about 10 minutes and was then seen by a young doctor. He was courteous, helpful and thorough, and I couldn’t have been happier with the attention that I received.

As a “bulk billing” surgery, as long as you have your Medicare card, there’s nothing to pay.

The clinic is conveniently situated in Carpentaria House, across the road from the Cavenagh Hotel on Cavenagh Street, only a few minutes walk from the hotel where we were staying.

Recommended.

After waiting for 25 minutes, I noticed the doctor making coffee, walking around, and chatting with others. Unfortunately, I was not attended to, and in the end, I was asked if I wanted to reschedule

I felt so heard when I visited here 2 weeks ago. The female doctor was absolutely fantastic
I could cry at how kind and supportive she was. Actually ordering me tests and giving me a prescription that I’ve been fighting to get since Feb
Thank you so much

I needed a GP, as ive been in pain, on the same day and they got me in. The Nurse is very very lovely she made things easy for me. Dr Sanjan is very professional and really cares about his patient. There’s not too many people, and the place is quite and cozy. Thank you so much. Payment process is quick too! 💗

I just rang up for appointment for my partner as my local topend medical centre dosent bulkbill on weekends . The front staff are extremely unprofessional the manger lady was very rude and ask me questions that had nothing to do with the subject I cancelled appointment as this place is unprofessional and should all be sacked and the clinic closed down please avoid this place I recommend topend medical centre Stuart park they are very well professional and doctors are 10/10 service they actually care . Avoid this clinic all together. They should be reported to the medical board . How unprofessional.

Not my usual doctor and practise but Dr. Sajan was the doctor that was first available for an appointment.

He did a thorough examination and sent me to the lab test my blood. It was a Friday and the doctor called me on a Saturday with the results already (because he knew I was leaving Darwin the next day).

I do get the reviews about the reception but overall I had a good experience.
