Booked my very first appointment with specialist GP Dr Ben from Medical on Robina and for the first time in the longest time since moving to the GC, I finally felt heard, seen and listened to. I haven’t had that experience from any other GP on the Gold Coast so it was a very positive consultation despite some of the challenges ahead of me.
I didn’t feel rushed like I normally do which meant for me that I didn’t feel like just a number.

I was actually quite disappointed with my appointment today. I thought I was coming for a test the doctor told me to come back for six weeks after a treatment only to discover I was only coming for a referral to go and have the test which she could have given me at my previous visit. A total waste of my time which is very valuable to me and the doctors time and my money, I was still charged the full rate for a visit that was totally unnecessary.
