My recent experience at Mawson Lakes Medical Centre was extremely disappointing. The level of professionalism displayed by the staff was lacking, and the overall service was far from efficient. I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time, which is unacceptable in any circumstance—but especially difficult when attending with a toddler.
What made the situation more frustrating was that after finally being called in by the doctor, I was taken to another room and left waiting for an additional 20 to 30 minutes. This unnecessarily drawn-out process adds stress and inconvenience, particularly for parents managing young children in an unfamiliar and often uncomfortable environment

The most disorganised and incompetent facility I have come across.
Attended to get clearance to attend a gym, was advised need follow up appointment and Dr. ever called at arranged time. It was fortunate that I was not actually sick and after three hours and 15 phone calls I went in and saw him in person.

Would give zero stars if able.

Would rather die than attend this practice again.

The lack of empathy and basic courtesy from the front desk and doctor is unacceptable in any medical setting. Dr. Shahid Bhatti – A Truly Caring and Professional GP

I have been to see Dr. Shahid Bhatti at Mawson Lakes Medical Centre many times for serious medical problems. Every time, he has been very professional, kind, and caring.

He always takes the time to ask questions, check my full medical history, and make sure he fully understands the problem before giving any medicine. He carefully explains any risks and only prescribes what is truly needed.

What really impressed me is that he even personally called medical imaging clinics to help book urgent tests when needed. He doesn’t just write referrals, he follows up and makes sure you get the care you need as soon as possible.

Dr. Bhatti goes above and beyond for his patients, and you can tell he truly cares. The clinic is also clean, well organised, and friendly.

This is the best GP and the best medical centre in the area. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Bhatti as your doctor, you are in very good hands. I highly recommend him!

If I could give a 0 star I would. Rude doctors, very little organisation, no empathy to patients. During my appointment I felt like the doctors didn’t want me there and I had made her day extra hard as I was a new patient and reception hadn’t gotten any of my details. Even more disappointed due to the lack of action from the clinic when I expressed my concerns and was hoping for a refund for the appointment due to not receiving the service I required

Just an all around crappy experience. The doctor was 45 minutes late to see my son.
He was cold and didn’t express any real care. Not cool and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

More than 30 minutes of waiting time, and doctor rely on you to tell him if you still have fever or not. He won’t bother to check fever himself. I told about cough and a normal doctor will inspect throat, but this gentleman won’t bother. He finished 10 minutes appointment in 5 minutes, and won’t be interested in checking vital parameters for a new patient.

Paula is a rude receptionist, almost made me think she’s crazy. I get that this job can be frustrating but come on Mawson Lakes Medical Centre, you can train people. Paula couldn’t provide straight solution to a simple question, instead kept saying things which were not helpful. Finally after 2 minutes of unpleasant conversation she got to the point and managed to find a helpful solution i-e booked my appointment for medical fitness test and stopped talking about previous history. But then immediately hung up. That’s when I had to call them back and got my appointment cancelled.

At another instance, my partner was booked for an appointment for 10am but Dr. visited after 30 minutes. Dr. Bina is a good listener and helpful.

Please look somewhere else, even other clinic is far.
