The doctors and staff are amazing! They are so professional and helpful. I have young children and it is often very difficult to book into to see a doctor at the last minute but this centre always do everything they can to get me an appointment with a doctor. The reception staff are so lovely and helpful!

Lovely, caring staff! Took my 4 month old daughter for her check up and vaccinations. Dr Burton is the first GP I've felt to really listen to my concerns as a FTM and she was so thorough and gentle when dealing with my daughter. I'm so happy with the level of care received- I would recommend her to anyone with little ones

Reception staff have been lovely and that’s often not been my experience at doctor clinics. Some of the doctors are nice but my favourite doctor left. I think having the clinic nurses is a bad idea. I’ve found them to be judgemental and one was completely rude and the doctor I saw followed suit. There was no consideration from either of them for mental well-being at all. I didn’t go to a doctor for nearly two years after that. I informed them of my concerns. I found another doctor there and she has been very supportive.

After changing doctors and moving to this practice I can say I've never had a warmer experience from all staff. Friendly receptionist, super supportive nurse and a doctor that goes above and beyond. Definitely recommend this clinic.

Decent car park.
Easy to find once you're used to it (at first I was a little lost).
It has been a new feeling to feel more attended to at doctors appointments. I'm a bit stunned for so long I thought all was well and "normal" with my experiences to come here after looking for a doctor for my newborn to be treated above and beyond.
At each appointment I am consistently checked in with in regards to previous issues & every appointment time is taken and general checks are done, before I came to Mawson Lakes Healthcare I would be out of a doctors office easily within 3 minutes with a script or a "you're fine, bye".
My health is taken seriously and they check in with ongoing medical concerns if I go there for something else, it's appreciated.
I will happily pay the gap fee for the quality of service. If they can't help/ believe further intervention is required they will source everything needed for me, its a wonderful feeling.
As a mum, finding a GP for my newborn was a big deal, I have found 3 doctors I am happy for my son to see, I try to keep his "main doctor" but obviously this isn't realistic if he wakes up sick so I have since seen a few others when its been last minute and have 2 names on my list. Its reassuring to feel confident with 3 doctors all within the one practice.
If I'm worried about something but there is no major indicators or something serious or it isn't yet serious enough for any sort of treatment the 3 doctors I like for my son are all reassuring that due to our scary (we had a big scare at the start) that I've done the right thing getting him checked, they clearly tell me what to look out for and what to do/ provide numbers or services etc to seek should anything get worse out of hours, they are supportive and always do full and thorough examinations of my boy should something be off. They always encourage follow ups to make sure he is getting better, they always give me some at home tips for whatever issue I am facing and ensure I am left feeling a bit more confident, often with great handouts.
They also have a nurse with lactaction knowledge which was beneficial for me as a new mum.
I have never waited over fifteen minutes longer than my booked appointment where at my old GPS I would easily be waiting for an hour over on a good day.
They will even pull up information and include me/ direct me to areas online where I can find further information about any concerns/ upcoming things, they take mental wellbeing seriously which is important with my history.
I now recommend them to family who feel "rushed" at medical appointments.

Edit March 2024 to add:
Now a mum of 2, both my children attend and are well cared for and we have expanded our trusted GPs list, which is always comforting as a mum.

I have never felt more comfortable discussing my mental health.
It is something I have been challenged with for years and I very often avoid telling the full truth to professionals out of fear in the past.
One of their doctors, Dr Tendai Tagwira, has made it so much easier to say I need help and has made me feel so comfortable and safe to open up more to her and psychologists.
Her approach to womens health has been nothing but comforting in my dark times that helps me pull through my challenges.
She is a gift to people like myself battling our own minds.
