Our daughter has seen the Physio. The Ophthalmologist and also the Cardiac department here and they are fantastic. Everybody is helpful and happy and go out of their way to help you. Thank you to everyone at the Mater Children's hospital for the care you give our daughter 😊

We waited for a while before we were allowed into the inside waiting room. The nurse only gave us the room number, and we had to find it ourselves. No one guided us or took us to the correct waiting room, and no one offered us a blanket until we specifically asked for one. Compared to the adult emergency clinic, this was a bad experience for me.

Absolutely the best experience in a hospital.
My son had surgery with Dr Slee and the care from start to finish was the best experience.
Everyone was so caring, kind, accommodating and actually wanting to help in all ways even for me as the parent - when I felt anxious, worried, etc they sat and spoke with me and calmed me down.

The menu was incredible and the entertainment was amazing too. Kept my son and I entertained all day and night.

My 4yo son had Grommets/adenoidectomy surgery this month and I was blown away by the service and care at Mater Childrens. The care was second to none, the staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much to ask, they treated us beautifully. We were only a day stay however my son had a rough time due to being scared and in an unfamiliar place so they allowed him to go upstairs to the overnight stay rooms where he had his own room and access to the outdoor playground. Blown away. A big thank you to Nurse Kathy who was AMAZING in every way.

My 3yo son had ENT surgery at Mater Children's and all staff were lovely. From pre op, to post op to ward. Everyone was friendly, helpful and really cared about my sons welfare. Special thanks to Amy, Jess and night shift nurses on level 8, 5/10/22. You are all wonderful humans 🙌

I could not speak more highly of the nursing and ward clerk staff at mater children's private Brisbane. The nursing staff went above and beyond to support us and our twins throughout our month long stay. They made the stressful situations we had with our boy's health easier to process and celebrated all the little wins we had along the way. They picked up health issues other departments had missed and supported us as we learned to manage being new parents to premie twins. This made us more confident when taking our beautiful sons home. I am so incredibly grateful for the care we received whilst on the ward. Absolutely amazing nurses. Thanks girls ❤❤

A brilliant experience at the Mater Private Kids - the nurses looked after my very sick baby girl so beautifully- we really appreciated the private room and parent bed so we could be with our baby girl all the time in relative comfort. I could not speak highly enough of the staff. Our pead Dr Aaron Easterbook was incredible and developed a plan of care which saw our baby girl improve quickly - his expertise and care was wonderful. The option to buy parent meals at $15 was excellent so we didn’t have to leave the room - thank you Mater Private Kids - a very well run hospital for children, I honestly cannot thank you enough.
