GP Anamika was so passive aggressive that I couldn't believe it! She made me feel like I was wasting her time, as she wasn't working but making me a favor!
I went to get a medical certificate because I recently had an accident and fractured a bone in my foot. I have a flight coming up and wanted to avoid it, but the doctor made me feel like I was lying, like I was some kind of lying psychopath. The accident happened in another state (Tasmania) and my medical history is at the Hobart hospital, but she wanted me to show proof. I had to show her photos and even then!

I also wanted a cervical screening and she gave me an hour-long lecture as if it was a sin to ask for one, saying it's only needed every 5 years. I had to explain that I received a government message telling me to get one.

I also wanted a blood test because I have low vitamin D and high cholesterol, but she was questioning me about the levels as if I would know! That's something for doctors to discuss. Again, it felt like she thought I was lying, like I was making it all up. I feel like she made the government waste 20 minutes with me for nothing.

I come to this clinic for almost 10 years to see a doctor that is very competent and professional. Today, I had to come for a simple prescription as mine had finished and I had the worst experience with the receptionists that I ever had in a medical facility. The were extremely rude, cold and using sarcasm to say that if I want to wait it will be one hour or I can walk away. The other one said to me that she is not particularly polite when I asked about their rudeness. I’m not here to get anything for free. I’m here because all of my medical history is here and I needed my prescription. I will have to say goodbye to my doctor as I don’t intent to come back here to be treated as rubbish when I’m sick and in a vulnerable position. It looks like that most of the admin staff are family or friends so, why bother to reach out to them. There is a big sign that they don’t tolerate abuse and they are the one abusing people there.

Very rude receptionist ! I just got hung up on after being asked what I'd like them to do now. Everytime I call them it's so hard to get through, can never get through when dr is in. So I call on the weekend to leave a message as all I wanted was a referral for my mum and I get hung up on. What a horrible experience. My elderly parents come here and I would hate to think that they treated them like this.

Probably the worst experience with reception staff I’ve ever had. Incredibly rude, put the phone down on people, ignore patients. I understand reception in a medical centre is a very challenging job, however it seems like they chose a bunch of young friends who are incredibly inexperienced, have no professionalism or compassion and placed them to deal with people who are vulnerable and need help. By the looks of the review section this is a common complaint.

I would like give it a zero star if I can do! The reception ( The lady wear grasses in the middle counter reception) very very rude and unwelcome me and my wife , I recommended if she not happy this job she have to change another job never come back again ?

The receptionists have always been quite rude and incompetent, but this was acceptable when bulk billing was an option. Now they do not bulk Bill and the standard of customer service is almost worse. The doctors have always been friendly, even if you do have an appointment and have to wait over an hour to see them. I'll be going elsewhere next time

Absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour from receptionist.
Waited 10 minutes before the phone was answered, asked if they did walk in’s as another local medical centre recommended I try them as they stopped doing walk in’s for the day, I asked reception & she said they stopped, I asked what time, she said 3pm, I then asked if she knew anywhere local who did do walk ins & she said “I don’t know anywhere, I only work here” and hung up.

Absolutely vile, no wonder they’ve copped a bad name for themselves in the area.
If you don’t like dealing with people then maybe reconsider your job sweetheart.

This place has a system appointment but they never respect the times. If you arrive on time you must wait for 30-40 minutes to take your place. To be honest this is happening quite often.
