Much better than expected! I'd fallen and had a gash below my knee, late on a Monday night. I went to emergence at the hospital and they applied a pressure bandage and took x-rays, but it was a five hour wait for stitches, so we agreed to go home and come back in the morning, which I did. But the morning wait was over 1.5 hours with no sign of seeing a doctor. So I went to Maroubra Urgent Care. Pretty much as soon as I'd done the paper work a nurse was preparing me, and then within about 10 minutes the doctor came and did the stitches straight away. All very professional and supportive. I was out within 30 minutes of arriving. No cost. Excellent care. Love Medicare! Love the good people at Maroubra!

I accidentally cut my finger deeply while working and came here for treatment. The staff were incredibly kind and provided quick, professional care. As a foreigner, this has been the best medical experience I’ve had in Australia. Highly recommend!

My daughter’s hand swelled up from an insect bite, I couldn’t get her in to see her GP but she was seen very quickly by the staff at the Urgent care clinic, and we did not need to go to emergency which was great. We were back home within 45 minutes.

I enjoyed my experience here. Come to this place for friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff for urgent, non-life threatening issues. My issue happened on the weekend and so I was unable to see my regular GP. Glad that I was able to just walk in for an appointment without booking. It felt like somewhere between a GP clinic and an emergency dept, where you see a triage nurse first

This service provided 5 star care for me today. I am visiting Sydney, therefore do not have a doctor. I was able to walk in, fill in a form, was seen by a triage nurse after a short wait, who passed me on to a doctor The doctor asked a few questions, examined me and was able to diagnose and recommend appropriate over the counter medicine and supportive products. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout the process. The doctor also provided written information about the condition. All this at no charge. Thank you.

The doctor here has poor communication skills, I had a minor cut on my hand that needed stitches, he advised that stitches can only be made within 48 hrs of injury (true) Rather than explaining the wound needs to be healed without stitches now, and providing me with wound dressing, he advised I get a 2nd opinion from GP next door.
So I paid $80 to see GP next door, and this doctor had called him already and ask him to give me the same advice.
They both advised I go to a Hospital Emergency to have the hand looked at, I did this and the Hospital advised the wound must heal on its own, as stitches cannot be applied after 48 hrs, they provided me with wound dressing material.
I feel as though this doctor sent me on an unnecessary and time consuming journey, rather than providing clear advice and the wound dressing material.

My experience was great. I arrived a little before 7 am, and even so, they invited me to come in so I wouldn't have to wait in the cold. Everyone was very kind, I had a test done and was seen quickly!
