Dr Poh charged too high for people without Medicare. I choose Dr Poh because he is the only GP in Glenwood that speaks Mandarin and my dad don’t have Medicare visited for a simple check in, and was charged 160 + 53 urine test fee, and he didn’t get any result for the urine test because that’s would need another appointment which would cost another 80-160. He simply couldn’t afford it. He is genuinely having financial difficulties.
It’s a shame that he got charged so high and that is doubled if not tripled the cost as Medicare holder would cost that paid by Medicare. Won’t come again.
Changed to a different bulk billing GP, always around 40 per visit, no surprise bills.

Would give no stars if I could, service is appalling from the admin staff, they like to stuff you around, the pedeatrician is good but he works at other practices so we'll be going there, don't expect them to answer the phone tried over 90 times in one day

Dr Cindy Gim (5 stars) is a friendly, experienced, and well regarded paediatrician (seeing youths up to 16yo) with generally good availability. She was great with my two kids and it was never a struggle to get them to their 6 month appointments.

The centre & staff on the other hand (2-3 stars) has been a bit average in our experience: inconsistent with customer service skills & professionalism and there was (at least for a while) high staff turnover. Some staff appeared to never have been trained to engage with the public or how to effectively problem solve with the smallest of patient challenges and some have been fantastic & very pro-active & empathetic.

Dr. Poh has been our family's primary care physician for nearly 14 years, and I am grateful to have him treat my family. He provides us with incredible care and support. When necessary, provides excellent advice and never wastes time with unnecessary treatment. We have absolute confidence in him.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Poh due to throat pain and nausea accompanied by stomach pain (signs of Bacterial infection). During the visit, Dr. Poh examined her throat and found white pus on one side but not the other. He suggested that we wait to see if the condition was viral or bacterial before prescribing antibiotics.

Dr. Poh recommended that we schedule a telehealth appointment if her condition worsened. The next day, when we had the telehealth appointment, I explained that my daughter's symptoms had worsened. However, Dr. Poh requested that I bring her in again or take a photo of her throat before he prescribed antibiotics.

I was disappointed to see that Dr. Poh wanted to charge Medicare for three visits, including two telehealth visits, before prescribing medication to my daughter. I was extremely disappointed with the experience.

The reason I put 1 star is not because of Dr Poh. We actually are a fond of him. He’s very mindful and thoroughly explains and answers any questions we have.

The reason I put 1 star is because of my experience with one of their paediatrician Dr Zaltan Dzumhur. Our first visit was terrible! I felt judged and ignore. We had booked another appointment a month later for a follow up on my little girls progress. When we arrived at the appointment he informed us that he somehow doesn’t have any records of our last visit, so he has nothing to compare results to. At first I didn’t think much of it until he told me he needs me to book another appointment so he has results to compare her progress to. First of all, this should not have happened in the first place. He said to me “don’t put her in any Jolley Jumpers or walkers” I kindly asked “why’s that?” He responded “it’s a simple answer” and went back to what he was doing. I felt so silly for not knowing the “simple answer” he spoke of. I asked him again “ oh ok no worries, can you explain to me why?” He again said “ it’s a simple answer” and ignored me. He was very rude and unhelpful.

He made me feel so small and stupid. He suggested for me to book another appointment so he can compare her results. He hasn’t sent me any details on our visits! The first visit was just very hard to follow through with things he was telling me as my little girl was crying and he was giving me information left and right. He asked me questions like “Did you finish school?” Like what does this have to do with anything? And made comments like don’t give her KFC (he made that as a joke because I’m Polynesian). I might not get his type of humour but I just remember feeling some type of way after my visit with him.

I’m just very upset at our entire experience.

I had a car accident today because of Google Map's navigation! It instructed me to turn right from Quakers Hill Parkway Road to Sunnyholt Road "using the second lane from the left" and then turn left to Malvern Road Glenwood right after that. The car that was also turning left to Malvern Road in the first lane from the left crashed into my car because Malvern Road is a single lane road so the driver didn't expect I would also turn left. It was so terrible! I trusted Google Maps for years and now I have to pay to repair the car and have no car to drive until it gets fixed!
