I mistakingly parked inside this establishments EMPTY carpark on a Friday afternoon. While walking I was approached by a rude and ill-mannered gentleman, who I believe to be a surgeon, and was told "you can't park here" very abruptly. I asked if it was for one business, he again said abruptly "yes" and walked off. I went inside my appointment to let them know I was there but had to move my car (1 minute maximum), upon walking back I see him writing down my plates and walking off (I'm sure that one minute would have really put a dent in your deserted business), I notice the patient parking only sign, it's small and behind a bush and I move my car. In future, perhaps you could approach people, who've made a simple, easy to make mistake with some respect and explain politely the issue. Some good advice considering this isn't your first review in regard to carpark issues. I sincerely hope you treat your patrons a little more kindly.

Pulled up in the car park at 2.45pm on a Friday afternoon. I'm recovering from a major knee reconstruction, have a ROM brace on my right leg and am only able to walk with crutches. I have been on these for 3 months and am now looking at rehabilitation options. My Dad had driven me in to make some enquiries about the orthopaedic rehabilitation options & services.
Someone walking through the car park to the building turned around and abruptly said the car park was being closed and to move the car. My Dad who was driving said sorry and we left straight away.
The lady who told us leave then proceeded to walk into the building we had been planning to go in and make enquiries
Was rather disappointed.

Hello I'm Aimee Stromeier , Myself and Mum have had the great pleasure of meeting Dr John Estens a few times over the last 4 years mostly when was a orthopaedic senior registrar through the John Hunter hospital and most recently this year ( 22 March 2018 ) as a full orthopaedic Hip / Knee , Foot / ankle surgeon for paediatric / adult patients at his rooms in lake Macquarie specialist medical centre , He is a very caring professional competent doctor who is one of thoughs people that does actually care about his patients , We were in the consult room for one of the orthopaedic surgeon's and another registrar came in to start the consult he introduced himself as Nick and we politely said we're very sorry but we normally just see the surgeon directly and that the surgeon is happy with this then next thing nick become abusive and said we were being rude by saying this and that we're interrupting his training then stormed out through the papers in the tray and walked off , Then next thing Dr Estens came around the corner and grabbed our papers and said he had nothing else to do at the time so he came to help out in clinic , We told him about what just happened he said not to worry and took over until the surgeon came in as well , He is a very nice man it was sad to loose him to Maitland Hospital but we got to him again about some foot fractures mum was getting that showed up on bone scans , We called up his lake Macquarie rooms got a appointment for in 4 weeks went to the GP got a referral and he her and even bulk billed her as well , Gave some advice on how to prevent further fractures , Dr Estens is a amazing doctor who is not doing this job just the money and he happy to chat about anything as well , We are glad he didn't move away to further his medical career , I'm sure he will do great things go along way with his work I'm also sure patients of all ages will like seeing him as much as we did , He even picked up something on examination with my right knee he showed the surgeon he told Dr Estens to order both MRI / Xray and his thoughts were confirmed showing a condromyalaichia tear / patellar general syndrome behind the knee on the MRI , I think the tray had a very small minor joint effusion and that was it in 2014 a couple of months later I had a cortisone injection in the knee done unfortunately not by this wonderful registrar through but it hurt soooo much ( Ouch ) , We have a very hard disician to make about who our next Ortho surgeon will be in the future until then we will keep who we already have ATM , We definitely look forward to seeing Dr Estens again sometime in the future for our hip, knee and foot , ankle issues , Until then we wish him all the very best with his work , Keep doing doing the great job you always do , It has been a real pleasure getting to know you , See you soon . Best Wishes and Kind Regards Aimee Stromeier and Debbie Butler.
