I saw Dr Ahmed Dulfiqar at MacIntosh Medical Centre in Forster last week. I've seen him for the past 3 years because he is always warm, friendly, kind and highly proficient. He supported me on my weight loss journey, which was highly effective. I lost 18kg. I found that weight loss efforts are more effective when you have to face someone you respect, whose opinion of you matters. Last week I went in to ask for a pathology request and while I was there I asked a question about vaccines for Mum. He quickly did research on different vaccines available and explained everything clearly. I was surprised to learn you can catch pneumonia. I thought you developed it after illness. He printed out the info and a prescription and called the Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre to see if they have vaccines for those who qualify, over 75s. They did. Mum had her vaccination 2 days later for free. She's 82 with Alzheimers. She loves Dr Ahmed. She refers to him as "that lovely young man with the kind face and sparkly eyes".

Worst experience I’ve ever had , the doctor didn’t do anything I asked and kept asking me the same questions over and over. Went in with a sore throat which I’ve had for 3 weeks.I had to ask her to look into my throat. All I wanted was a referral to a specialist and she said come back in 2 weeks and prescribed reflux medication.

Took my elderly mum in to get the doctors ok for her drivers licence. . Then, instead of a licence renewal, they insisted she had a pneumonia injection and made her sit and wait another hour. Appointment was for 9.45. We are still waiting at 11.40 ?

A very upsetting experience today. My 2 year old has been unwell and may have a chest infection. Denied seeing a doctor to check her lungs and breathing because she has a cough. The reason we need to come in. Wont even see her outside. What a disgraceful world we live in when a sick 2 year old is denied medical treatment.

I would highly recommend Dr Maryjane if your living in this area.
