Work Ethic and compassion is something you don’t find too often at medical centers specially at imagine services understandably so (Sundays can be hectic) However… I was absolutely Mind Blown by the professionalism and flexibility of the technician who not only pushed my wheelchair (I was by myself) also went above and beyond its closing time to make sure I was not left waiting until next shift started at 4:30pm 💐🌸🙏

My mother had a fall and needed an X-ray. We were lucky to be assisted by Mariana, who was incredibly kind, professional, and caring. She comforted us during a stressful time, helped communicate with the front desk, and guided us through the process smoothly. She even gave us helpful aftercare advice. I do NOT recommend this place for dental X-ray services, particularly for young children.

Prior to our visit, I called Lumus to check if an appointment was needed. I was told that no booking was required and that we could simply walk in. However, when we arrived at 4:00pm, the receptionist informed us that they had reached full capacity and could not accept walk-ins. This was confusing, especially since the service is advertised as offering after-hours appointments. After asking several questions, I was eventually told we could wait until 5:00pm to be seen. While the receptionist was polite, a clear and upfront explanation—such as "We’re at capacity right now, but we can fit you in at 5:00pm"—would have saved a lot of stress and confusion.

The most concerning part of our visit was the behaviour of the radiographer, whom I believe was named Marina. Her approach was entirely unsuitable for working with children. She had a strong accent and gave NO visual aids or child-friendly explanation, which made it difficult for my child to understand what was expected. When my child struggled to bite down on the X-ray plate, Marina began raising her voice and scolding her. This was extremely distressing. As a teacher, I could immediately tell she lacked training in working with young children. I had to intervene, asking Marina to CALM DOWN and explain things differently. Once the instructions were clarified, the X-ray was completed without any issue.

This was a very unpleasant experience. I strongly urge Lumus to ensure their staff are appropriately trained to work with young children, or to assign only those who are suitably qualified.

My finger got injured and I was lucky to find an urgent care service with radiology open on a Sunday morning! After being checked by the urgent care clinic staff on ground floor, I came upstairs with the referral and got the X ray done shortly after. Even better, I returned to the ground floor and the images were already on the doctor’s computer. All the staff in the building were efficient and professional, making it such a smooth experience when I was in great pain from my injury. Special thanks to Zureen who processed my X ray and being so thorough.

Turned up only to be sent away as the sonographer was on leave and there was a mixup in their rostering. Reception staff were rude and unprofessional and not in tune with their patients whatsoever
