Very very disappointed in my experience with Dr Gupta. Was invested in healing and had high hopes due to his supposed reputation. Unprofessional from the get go yet have him the benefit of the doubt. Had a zoom call for my initial appointment which he turned up to completely unprepared. He also attempted to cut my appointment short by 30 minutes because he was running late for his next patient. I expressed that I wasn’t okay with that and we agreed to finish the remaining half an hour that same week. I let it go and the consult seemed to go fine and we had a plan. Unfortunately I then had to spend 6 weeks religiously chasing this doctor for what I had paid for. I had no treatment plan, nothing except one test and some external referrals. On week 3/4 of chasing up my care he decided to gaslight me via email and shut me down because he is ‘the only doctor in the clinic and didn’t have time’. He also said he still hadn’t completed the treatment plan. He told me he would ‘add it to his list of things to do’ on week 5 of waiting. He was quite happy to take my money immediately though after the consult. He told me via email he didn’t remember the discussions of the 2 hour consult. He also said my brain scan showed Alzheimers and that i’d need to start an Alzheimers program, left me for 6 weeks not knowing anything and it took a toll on me and my family’s mental health, just radio silence after dropping that information on me. After biting my tongue and waiting patiently I reached out again and the next day (today) he sent through my treatment plan via email. When I opened it, almost all of the contents were not relevant to me and he had listed conditions that I don’t have in there. Still don’t know if he used another patients and sent it to me or if he rushed it so badly that he didn’t care to check, a lot of guess work. At that point after waiting so long, being gaslit and being talked down to for chasing up my healthcare I decided that Dr Gupta was not the right physician for me and requested a refund. His response to my civilised email was completely disgusting and personal. Like that of a narcissist or immature adult. I now do not have the energy to seek out further medical care and this has caused some medical ptsd. If anyone takes anything away from this review please don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself even when a doctor is gaslighting you. Do not believe reviews on the internet over possible real life experiences. This doctor did damage and then tried to deny it afterwards despite recordings and writing in emails.
