I started going to a Type 2 diabetes course , and I got a referral from my local GP. The people who run this service are very nice. They will try to add positive interactions with you and others who attend. This group of people on the second floor via a lift or stairwell. They consist of counter staff for Logan Healthy Living and Deet's. During the course, you learn about you're diabetes and how to manage it. And exercise equipment, Their staff consist of the person who runs it. Then there is a teacher who spends most of their time with you. Then, they also have university students . You do theory for about 1 hour, you exercise.

I'm relatively new to Logan Healthy Living & attend with my wife. The elevators stink of burnt grease & sets off my wife's asthma. Stepping inside you are welcomed by the lovely Receptionist. At times these ladies would have such a thankless job, however I appreciate their smile. This facility have an arrangement of incredible staff members. The pay wouldn't be that good, so they are doing what they enjoy, caring & looking after people. Emma & Harry have been such an amazing help to us, every second of their time has been a blessing. Diabetes sucks & having this in mind, this is a very well thought out facility with various types of help available.

I have nothing but praise for the staff here. They are all so caring & compassionate as well as encouraging towards me in my diabetes journey . I would highly recommend each person there , diabetes educators Minnie & Emma also my exercise physiologist Harry & Cody my dietitian & everyone in between.

Help when you need it by very caring professionals who all make you feel listened to and give you easy to follow treatments that you can follow and benefit from, this is one of the best services I have used there is no judgement which I have found with some other places I have used in the past and the follow up is awesome they go above and beyond afterwards to make sure you're improving and not struggling. I came for physio originally and then took the diabetes course which I didn't think I really needed but found it very informative and now am more aware of things about my diabetes that I didn't know that were important. I still benefit from the linked services now which consist of gym, physio, dietician, mental health all of which have helped me through some very hard times recently after heart surgery. The sevices here are fantastic, the staff are great. I love coming here and being allowed to be me snd made to feel special. You could get a better staff line up than you have right now starting with Min (Menakshi Laroiya) right down through all the others. It’s happy and welcoming all the time. Please don’t change a thing.
