I've recently had knee arthroscopy day surgery at this hospital done by Dr. Keith Winters. Upon arrival, I had to sign a couple of forms, made a payment, and was then taken to the ward to get ready for surgery. Personal items/clothing were left in a cupboard next to the bed, and they had a secure/locked side draw to store more valuable items like a mobile phone.

The hospital had a pretty quiet and calm atmosphere, and I think there were not that many patients in my ward during my stay.

The operating room can feel quite cold, so I recommend asking to keep the blanket over you during the surgery. Otherwise, you might wake up feeling freezing cold in the recovery room.

The good thing about this hospital is that they don't rush you to wake up quickly after surgery and give you plenty of time, unlike other private hospitals that I've been to.

After I was transported back to the ward, I was closely monitored by a nurse. She was very efficient and made sure I received the medication to take home as quickly as possible and brought me some food/drink. Later she transported me to my car in a wheelchair, so I was looked after really well by her.

All of the admin staff, nurses, and surgery team were very friendly and caring.

Parking: There was no problem getting a parking spot in the afternoon near the entrance. There are about 10 spaces and 2x 10 min drop-off/pick-up spots, also 2 hour street parking.

As a former healthcare worker myself, the care & service from Reception, Ward staff, Theatre staff & Catering was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant & polite & couldn’t do enough to make my stay overnight very comfortable. Thankyou everyone 😊

Ahhh Linacre Private very good place. Very nice. I go visit my daughter in-law Cindy after she drink too much or something like this—crazy girl, eh? She wake up there like queen in big, clean room. Room so fancy, I almost think it’s hotel, not hospital!

Everything good here. No smell like hospital, very clean, little noisy, the food look okay (but Cindy no eat Kourouli i bring from shops), anyways I get sick one time, maybe I go there myself. Is a very nice place, number one. 👍

I had a THR on 3rd Dec, my second THR at Linacre. The first 6 years ago. My room 16 was shabby and in need of a coat of paint. My first night post surgery I found difficult but I had to call for my medication, maybe there was the assumption I had been through it before, but I felt there was a complacency about the nursing staff. Thankfully two wonderful nurses Aoife and Alanah came to my assistance on day 1 post op. The food was public hospital standard, cheap and cheerful. The handover at 10.30pm on my last night was like a Christmas party, the noise was unbelievable. I think my two experiences were very different and I think as a healthcare worker myself I can say that Linacre needs to lift its game . Very disappointing!

I had a fantastic overnight stay at Linacre. The staff were so lovely… especially Linda, Emma,Helen and Katie. And my surgeon and anaesthetist were wonderful. There were two lovely student nurses as well. Very impressed!
Thank you.

The nurses were all very friendly, caring, attentive and professional. They seem very happy to work there, seeing their interactions with each other. My surgical team were fantastic. I only wish there was a shop there. Even though a small hospital, just a small shop with a small range of products such as magazines and snacks etc would be nice.

Thank you to the team at Linacre Private Hospital for looking after my son and I during our overnight stay. It was my son's first time having surgery (adeno-tonsillectomy) and they ensured he was well cared for and looked after. Everyone from the lovely nursing team, to
our ENT specialist Dr Rotman and Anaesthetist Dr Moran, plus catering services team ensured we were looked after very well.
The hospital organised for a private room for my son, which was really nice and clean. The food was really good and lots of menu options, we also liked that there was also a tea station with coffee machine and snacks available.
