This support agency based in Springwood, Logan city offers wide variety of services to its participants and does so to a high standard.
It is well organised overall and services are delivered efficiently.

I've had some very good support workers in the past who were friendly, respectful, caring and reliable resulting in many good memories.
In one instance in a time of crisis a staff member went above and beyond to assist me.

In many instances different staff members have acted responsibly and been considerate of me when dealing with other parties such as chemists, hospitals etc.

And in other emergency situations management assisted and supported me
making sure my basic needs were met.

In general I recommend this provider as it strives to assist its participants and provide quality services in a reliable and responsible manner.

Lifest has provided a service for myself and others at a professional standard displaying responsibility and respecting privacy towards clients and other employees involved. I have received services for approximately three months providing great care and attention toward my physical wellbeing and mental health. Lifest has respected my disability in a complete and efficient approach according to the program provided by Shine Health Services. Overall I would highly recommend their services to all eligible applicants displaying presentable needs acceptable to NDIS requirements.

Lifest has provided good support services which helped me to achieve my ndis goals. Also assistance towards taking care of our overall health was given at all times in terms of engaging in activities, attending GP/psychology appointments and most importantly ensuring quality of life. I would highly recommend Lifest health care support services as to provide the right services.

EDIT: owners response is a lie, when I raised these concerns to management, nothing changed. The NDIS need to do a serious inquest into this place and shut it down before they seriously harm someone, they only take advantage of the vulnerable

The most vile service provider, they put expiry dates on their clients, if they aren’t making them enough money, they’d rather leave them for dead. They see everyone as a number and have absolutely no empathy. The management here is some of the most disgusting people I’ve ever experienced in my life. If you care about your loved ones, stay away.

Update: response from business is completely a lie! The NDIS Safeguards Commission found lots of malpractice and told the business to refund our money back but they have refused to do so! Also complained to Human Rights Commission as this business discriminated my sister from having a support worker available at their Christmas party, bullied her while she was there and then terminated services after I complained (victimisation). The Human Rights Commission did a conciliation between the parties but this business refused to participate! So now has to be dealt through the Federal Courts! Avoid this business at all costs!

Fraudulent service! Overcharged on multiple occasions and kept changing shift times without notice. Don’t care about clients at all

Really poor initial interaction.

Spoke with Kaylyn, asked for Respite Care, Under 65 years of age, Overnight.

She advised me she would find out, and get back to me

4 days later, not hearing back from them, I phoned, and apparently Kaylyn just passed on my message. She didn't follow-up to ensure I was contacted, just treated my phone call like I was after a team of A4 paper.

I spoke to the Director, and aired my displeasure of the lack of duty of care. I mentioned, as they are a Respite service, and the customer whom are seeking this service are desperate, how about acting like they care. How about making sure the initial query is actually acted upon, or the customer phoned back.

I don't use Respite as a regular annual holiday reprieve, I use them when I'm aty Witt's end, and need help.

Excellent service, the shine family welcomes everyone. Hi my name is Monique I have been with shine for 1 year now, and it's changed me so much.
I have had really good experience with theses lovely shine staff + carers they would help you alot I have changed ever since I came here I have been more happy with myself and not because I grown up in a different lifestyle but because I was in foster care but when I got out and started to live with other people, they were not so nice, so when I came to the shine family all was loving and welcoming, I have such a special bond with everyone with in the shine family, for one everyone is perfect, helpful, nice, supportive, and very caring I have never seen such people being this kind to anyone and and it's been wonderful
It had been grate, they throw birthday parties for everyone at any age I had my first party when I moved in and it was wonderful, they also celebrate harmony day, Christmas, and easter, the shine family is a place to grow and have fun times, but with shine it's the most magical magnificent place to be, they would always be kind and loving towards people ✨️ 💛 so I say Come and join the sweet loving shine family and bless the people who have helped me and others that have come.
