The Dr that I see at this clinic is excellent, very easy to book an appointment using the ‘hot doc’ app. However, if you need to actually speak to reception then prepare for your call never to be answered. I was on hold for an hour and then gave up. Really disappointing given that the Dr’s are very good.

I have been trying to call the clinic for 2 days, each time waiting on hold for more than 25 minutes with no answer, I end up having to give up and try again and the same happens.
There is also an older male doctor who is incredibly rude, barely raises his voice to call your name and then just walks away. I asked reception if my name was called within a moment of thinking I vaguely heard it, and they called him to check and he’d already moved on to the next patient.

Avoid this practice! We brought our 6 year old in with likely pneumonia. He was started on antibiotics and we were told to call back on Wednesday for the swab results. On Wednesday we were told we need an appointment to get the results and the next available appointment was Friday. On Thursday he deteriorated and had to go to hospital by ambulance. It turns out that he had a different strain of pneumonia to the one he was prescribed antibiotics for, and if anyone had checked the results we could have got the right antibiotics in time to avoid a hospital stay. When I complained to the practice they saw no issue with this and did not agree there should be a process in place to review test results of patients whose doctor is not working that day. This practice has no regard for patient outcomes.

The surgery has improved dramatically since C-19. Less wait time, quality consultations and helpful receptionists. Dr Chaudrey is an excellent GP who looks after our family with care and attention.

WOW has this medical centre gone down hill...

I cannot count the issues i have had here in the past months, though the most recent, I saw a dcotor for a refferal, the doctor gave me a copy and did not send the dcoument to the specalist!

To add insult to injury the Medical center do not anwser calls!!

So three days i have called to ask for the doctor to share the refferal email and NO ONE picks up, the phone rings out...

So i iwll have to take time on my weekend to physically go in...

Avoid is this place if possible!!

I had a really nice experience with Dr Jessica Murphy- she was very patient and understanding and able to help out and explain things to me. The wait time wasn’t too bad - about 15 min after my booked time I was seen by the doctor which is a lot less waiting time than other doctors I’ve been to.

Fabulous medical centre and Dr Amika Jangwal is always an incredibly caring and thorough Doctor. I have followed her from her previous practice in Ashfield- once you get a great Doctor you don’t let them go! Having been her patient now for 9 years I trust her advice implicitly. Today’s appointment was no different. I highly recommend both her and the practice.
