I recently underwent a pathology test at Westmead Doctors, and I had a positive experience overall. We didn’t get a good service for the blood test on Saturday. The service on the other days are better, but on Saturday there was some other staff working there, she is not patient, and hurries up to complete the test. Experienced lot of pain in the vein, where the blood was taken out.

Few days later we got the notification that the results are ready and sent to doctor, but 2 days later we got the call that we need to retake the blood test, since the blood samples are not properly handled. So we again went for the retest in some other Center. We primarily went there since it was within Westmead Doctors medical Center, but the experience is not great on the Saturday. I would suggest to avoid the weekend service there.

They don’t provide the receipts after 5 days and even after multiple calls, really a bad IT service, which company takes 48 hours to send you a receipt after making a payment - now a days IT has been so much advance but Laverty is going backwards in IT and customer experience

Since previous 3 Saturday’s blood collector ( asian aged lady) been so slow. I was advised by receptionist to arrive before 12:45 pm as pathology closes at 1 pm. I arrived there 12:25 and lady had taken off waiting numbers and said I have another one patient to look after. Similar thing happened previously first when I visited. Next 2 days it wil be public holidays and i had pregnancy bloods to do.
Would recommend laverty pathology in westmead doctors.
