Great experience here this morning. Well, not great because I passed out after my blood test, but the pathologist was great. I was able to walk straight in on a Sunday morning for my blood test and it was over very quickly. The pathologist was very caring when I went down, fanning me and ensuring I was ok before leaving. Highly recommend.

The clinic was scheduled to open at 7:30 AM, but despite waiting until 8:15 AM, no staff arrived. Over 10 people were left waiting outside, uncertain and frustrated.

Having read the reviews I only went there because it is one of the few centres open after school and I needed to take my niece for a blood draw. If I could give them zero I would. There was one very unfriendly person on duty and she was incredibly slow and had no clue about which number to call out, simply coming out and yelling "Next!". They show a closing time of 5pm and I arrived just after 4pm. There were 3 people ahead of me so I assumed there would be plenty time. At 4:50 she informed me that the courier was there and I need to come back another day. I told her I would be sending in a written complaint and the courier advised her he would wait and that she can do my niece's blood draw (after pushing her to finish up). They proceeded to send the person who came in a few minutes after me away.

Arrived at 4.10 pm with 3 people ahead of me.. At 4.35pm I was told by the rude nurse that she couldn’t see us today. I receive far better and professional service in Vietnam!! Now I understand why your google review is 1.9 TERRIBLE!!

I feel I must be extremely lucky after reading so many negative reviews below. I went to the lab in the morning of June 11, waited for less than 15 mins and got called by a collector in black scuba. I have not done blood test for at least 7 years only because my last two experiences were nightmare and both ended with me loss of consciousness as I was extremely nervous. The lady recognised my concerns and kept checking with me if I was feeling okay. During the collection process, she was so gentle and caring, and managed to collect five tubes samples without causing any pain. There’s even no bruise left on my arm after one day. Big thanks to this lady!

I visited Laverty Pathology at the Ginninderra Medical and Dental Centre. This is our second time my mom was served by Ash. He was very kind and helped my anxious mom to help with her blood samples. He advised her about the do’s and dont’s for the next 24 hours. He cared and I thank him for being so patient. Way to go Ash and I hope you the very best.

I went to the pathology at 5 pm, within its working hours until 5.30 pm. An Indian staff member took all the numbers, explaining at 5 pm, they concluded issuing numbers and she had other tasks to do,cleaning etc and she gave me excuses that it was very busy day. I was asked to wait. Despite the displayed working hours, I waited for 20 to 25 minutes. It was 5.25, When I inquired again, she said she couldn’t perform the blood test, her manager cannot pay her after 5.30pm. I told her so why she told me to wait and wasted my time. I expressed my dissatisfaction, suggesting they update their website or display closing times clearly.

Additionally, after the blood test, I experienced a significant amount of bleeding and bruising, which was unusual compared to my previous experiences. This, coupled with the unprofessional and rude staff interaction, left me with a negative impression.

I would give a negative rating if I could. I was there around 11am on 17 March. The nurse was in a blue scrub and with a mask on. She kept complaining about how she was not capable of seeing my veins. Instead of seeking for more experienced staff, she attempted numerous trails poking needle in my arm and she even swirled it while the needle was still inside. This caused severe pain to me. I demand an investigation into this nurse competency? Her qualification background? Were there training programs in place? What is laverty complaint handling process like in dealing with this sort of complaints? If I don't get a proper response, I am not afraid of escalating it to related regulators.
