If you are going charge that much for each exam,
Please improve on your examination equipments as such as pens , keyboards.

Even during listening test , can’t hear very clearly with headphones on because of distance between students were too close and background noises were very bad

Very disappointed with this testing Centre

I would say that the place has handled every concerns addressed by many people very well as what I experienced was not something terrifying like what others said previously.

I took the test on 16th May 2025 at 12 p.m., and got the result on the next morning 3 a.m. I thought it would be within 2 hours after the test like others said, but next morning is still quite fast as there were many people took the test at that time.

My input on this place would be:
- The check in system was fine, but it was a bit intricate as some of us (including myself) were confused and walking back and forth just to check in.

When I entered, I was told to take a brochure that contained the test rules, and I was confused because I read on PTE website that there would be a check in first before the test. There were 2 people at the administration desk, which I thought all of them were the staffs. As one person walked away from the administration desk, the other one called “NEXT”. You guessed it, I just stood there awkwardly, not knowing who was next until the admin person looked at me and signalled me to come to the desk. After that, there were many people walked in, and same process happened again where others assumed that this person was before this person, but that person was earlier than that person, so this person should be before that person.

SOLUTION:
I think it would be better if there are groups of chairs labeled and dedicated for queuing only as all of the chairs were the same (combined for those who have and haven’t checked in). It would be beneficial, especially for those people who haven’t taken any PTE test in the building before (like myself included).

- Last point to address, but definitely not least. The functionality of the keyboard. I would say the keyboard worked perfectly fine, but I definitely found it a little bit difficult to type as the keyboard required you to click the button slightly harder to make sure that you did not misspell a word or two. I assume that the keyboard is a bit old, but I could be wrong.

SOLUTION:
Simple, new keyboard. Just kidding, I believe there are some keyboards that work perfectly like a brand new, but definitely should undertake an inspection for each keyboard to make sure that it works perfectly. If one found faulty or difficult to be used (need to click harder to type a word), it should definitely be replaced with the new one.

Overall, it was a fun experience to have my first ever PTE exam in this place. I really believe the overall rating will change into 5 stars later in the future. Just make sure to do a regular inspection, making sure every faulty or issues are not appearing before a test starts because it costs someone’s time and money. Keep up the good work.

express my extreme disappointment with the conditions I experienced during my PTE examination on March 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
Firstly, I was dismayed by the seating arrangement in the examination room. The distance between me and the person behind me was minimal, which caused a significant issue. I could clearly see the reflection of their screen on my own screen, which was extremely distracting and unsettling throughout the test.
Additionally, there seemed to be a technical issue with some of the computers in the room. Several staff members were repeatedly walking in and out of the examination area, attempting to fix the problem. While they were doing so, they were speaking amongst themselves, which added to the noise and created a disruptive environment. This constant movement and conversation directly impacted my ability to focus and perform to the best of my ability during the exam.
This experience was extremely frustrating and upsetting. I feel that I wasted my $475 on a service that did not meet the expected standards of a professional testing environment.

On march 5th, during the exam, there was an alarm sound in our room exam for about 10 minutes, which distracted everyone. All the students were shouting reading loudly, creating a very chaotic atmosphere. At the end of the exam, we were given a case number. After following up with 10 days, they emailed just us apologizing.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Who is responsible for the 475 $ fee and time loss? This institution should have followed up on this, and now the only thing they should do is issue a voucher for the exam takers of that day along with an apology.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided at Lateral Plain Events on 23rd June 2024. My experience, along with that of 14 other examinees, was nothing short of appalling and unprofessional.

We were all scheduled for our PTE test at 8:30 AM. However, the test center did not open until 11:00 AM, leaving us waiting outside in the rain for two and a half hours. When the test supervisor finally arrived at 11:00 AM, instead of addressing our scheduled time, they began processing examinees booked for 11:30 AM and rudely instructed us to stay out of the premises.

At around 12:00 PM, after another hour of waiting in the rain and cold weather, the supervisor informed us in a rude tone that we should complain to Pearson if we had any issues, stating we would receive feedback in 3-4 business days. This delay would significantly impact our visa applications, adding unnecessary stress and frustration.

When we inquired about the reason for the delay, the supervisor claimed that someone had called in sick, which we found to be an unacceptable and insufficient excuse for such poor management. We explained that if we were unable to take the test on the same day, it would jeopardize our future plans, and we mentioned the possibility of filing a lawsuit due to the severe inconvenience caused. Following this, the supervisor finally spoke to their manager and arranged for us to take the test at 5:30 PM.

By this time, we had spent the entire day outside in the rain, with no shelter or proper communication from the center. The irresponsible handling of the situation caused me to fall ill with a fever and flu the next day. This level of service is utterly unacceptable, especially for a test that is so crucial to our future endeavors. I urge Pearson to take immediate action to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future and to provide adequate compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. I am also complaining to Fair Trade and all other where necessary.

There is a gentleman from Hong Kong with a cantonese accent by the name of Kevin who works here. He created an uncomfortable environment for the students to be in and made many of the students feel bad for needing to use the bathroom. He also made snide remarks to students when calling them up in an effort the appear more humourous, but came across as quite rude and uncomfortable.

When I needed to use the bathroom during the exam, I waved my hands for (and I timed this) 5 minutes straight. He did not come. Only with minutes left to the exam he came to get me. By that time I had lost precious time.

Please improve the quality of your staff and address the lack of professionalism with Kevin.

The staff here were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Before the exam, a staff member mentioned that we could raise our hands or cross them if we needed assistance. However, once the exam started, this proved ineffective.
The headphones provided were problematic—they not only allowed me to hear the person next to me but also amplified even the slightest sounds. During the reading section, the person beside me kept whispering, and I could hear it clearly through my headphones, making it extremely difficult to concentrate. I repeatedly tried to get the staff’s attention by waving or raising my hand, but no one came. Since I didn’t want to waste precious test time by leaving the room to seek help, I had no choice but to endure the distraction. As a result, I struggled to focus on the reading section.

When I finished the exam and stepped out, I noticed that the staff had changed. I explained my situation to the new staff member, but he repeatedly interrupted me, dismissing my concerns by saying, “No, no, no,” without even listening. This behavior was not only highly disrespectful but also unhelpful.

Instead of addressing the issue, he simply deflected responsibility, insisting that it was the previous staff member’s duty, not his. It was confusing and frustrating to see a staff change in the middle of the exam, and even more disappointing that the new staff member refused to assist or acknowledge the problem. It felt like they were merely passing the blame rather than taking accountability for ensuring a fair and distraction-free testing environment.
