My goodness what a journey a breast cancer diagnosis is, but what a blessing to have James French and his amazing team to help me through it. From the moment I met James in his rooms , to surgery and recovery at Lakeview Private Hospital, I felt supported and confident in an excellent outcome, and that is what I got! So many to thank, lovely reception staff, Bronwyn perfectly placed as a breast care nurse, the anaesthetist and all the surgical staff and ward nurses, thank you all so much.

I was referred by my general practitioner to Dr French in November 2016 and could not have been happier with how things went.
I have found Dr French and his staff to be friendly, understanding and professional at all times. My experience, from admission to hospital stay to post-operative care, was made extremely effortless and with as little stress as possible.
Although unfortunate that I required further surgery in March 2017, I had no hesitation returning to Dr French. Just like the first time around, I found everyone so lovely, which was exactly what I needed at such a very stressful time.

The team at Lakeside Specialist Breast Clinic are unparalleled in their expertise and care for breast cancer patients. The brains trust of James, Dinusha, Tim and Bronwyn combined their incredible surgical and oncology skills to ensure my mum didn't bow out at 68. She's seen the team for 18months now since her diagnosis and to say she adores the entire team is an understatement. Not only are they incredibly smart and pioneering interdisciplinary care to ensure all bases are covered in weekly meetings, they are friendly, kind, caring, and never make a patient feel rushed. Despite the rollercoaster of emotion that most patients endure when facing the "C" word, the team at LSBC are a welcome constant. They tell you who to see, and when, what to expect, and are always available for support along the way. Our family couldn't recommend them highly enough, and if mum knew how to write a Google review, she'd have written this herself!

NB: I'd take fellow reviewer "Leslie's" review with a serious grain of salt, once you realise the flavour of reviews she's given to other venues. This is a clinic that saves the lives of women suffering with breast cancer, not a local coffee shop. Period.

Try to book an appointment with Dr French. Send referral to receptionist for a week. No one calls me back to confirm my appointment. I have to call them again and again to follow up my appointment. Keep asking me to wait for few days for different excuses. Receptionist even makes decision on behalf of Doctor, asking me to do biopsy before the doctor review my case. Very unprofessional support team. Very unproductive. Very disappointed.
