This has got to be the worst hospital I've ever been to. Something needs to be done about the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT asap. How many complaints does one place need before someone takes things seriously

My mother got treated absolutely disgustingly over the phone by a woman named Isabelle who must be on the emergency desk. Simply wanted to know if my sister in law was okay but she refused to even answer that, continued with an attitude throughout the whole phone call and then hung up abruptly. Shocking. A few other receptionists we have spoken to earlier in the day were just as rude. Regardless of how busy they are there is no need for the way they spoke to us tonight.

Awesome! I have been to the new Parkes Hospital many times since it opened, for several different issues. I cannot fault them in any way! Every time I was given very good care and treatment from emergency care to imaging, dental services and mental health care. I've always found all staff at Parkes Hospital to be professional, friendly, helpful, caring and listening to me explain my problem with empathy and compassion. I've always left Parkes Hospital after treatment feeling very satisfied with the care I received there.

Passing through Parkes and husband suddenly unwell so went straight to emergency department: Reception, Triage and Doctor were fantastic. Big thankyou for prompt, courteous and helpful service. Really appreciate all your work!

These butchers sedated my daughter in law against her will after she was attacked by police for not liking being attacked by police. Then, Isobel, the rude "lady" in reception would not even update me as to my daughter in laws condition. Disgusting and typical regional NSW "health care"

I presented myself to the hospital on three occasions for different by combined complications.
The doctors and staff were professional informative and caring.
The staff organised a LAN to assist me with pain and further actions.
Overjoyed with their approach.

I highly recommend this hospital. The staff are lovely, professional, friendly and explained all the steps of the procedures. I have been in several larger hospitals in the slopes area over the years but would feel very confident should I have to return to Parkes.

I’d give it no stars if I could! Don’t care about why patients are in pain just keep feeding morphine and sending them home! If they did what they should have it could have saved a weeks pain and having to go to a hospital where the Doctors (wondering if they pass all participants these days With the ward doctor here) Actually find out what’s wrong!!!
